There have been rumors of Jay-Z starting his own label, but is it really going to happen? After leaving Def Jam at the end of 2007, everyone wondered if the executive role was right for the legendary MC. Now, according to the New York Daily News, an inside source told the paper that the former Def Jam Prez is actually in talks with Warner Music Group chairman, Lyor Cohen, and also gave some insight as to why he left Def Jam in the first place.
