PRINCE SUING NORWEGIAN RECORD BOSSES OVER COVERS ALBUM

PRINCE is suing the bosses of a Norwegian record company after learning they released a five-CD cover album full of his hits - without his permission. The 81-track package, Shockadelica, features Norwegian artists performing hits like Purple Rain and Sign O' The Times. The cheeky music executives at C + C Records inadvertently alerted Prince to the limited-edition package when they sent him a copy, according to RollingStone.com. The pop superstar's lawyers have ordered the Norwegians to destroy all copies of the album.
