T.I. SCRAPS NEW PROMO AFTER DESIGNER COMPLAINTS.

Rapper T.I. who hung out with our HipHossip correspondents the Lawrence twins at the BET HH awards has been forced to pull the promo for his new single SWING YA RAG after he was accused of copyright infringement by fashion houses Louis Vuitton and Gucci for featuring its products in his video. The Live Your Life hitmaker had to scrap plans to debut the promo on TV after receiving complaints about the designer scarves he and his entourage use in the clip.

He tells MTV, "We did it (the video) and it came out hot. Louis (Vuitton) and Gucci started trippin' about it. They were saying we were infringing, in one way or another. They weren't happy about it. They didn't want it to come out. But it's hot, though."
