Woman Who Tweeted “2 Drunk 2 Care” Before Crash That Killed Two People Was Sentenced To 24 Years #HNNtraffic

A Florida court sentenced Mendoza on Monday to 24 years in prison. She was facing a maximum sentence of 30 years. She will also have six years of probation and a lifetime driving ban.

Before her sentencing, Mendoza was given a chance to speak. “No matter how much time passes they will never leave my heart. I think about them every day and I regret my choices every day,” she said.
