Our good snitches told me that Singer Usher and his wife, Tameka Foster, welcomed a baby boy earlier tonight. I believe that is Tameka's 4th child and Usher's first. We congratulate them. Mom and son are doing fine.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs reportedly underwent surgery recently after injuring his foot. The New York Post claims Diddy broke his foot in an accident and had to go under the knife. A representative for the Bad Boy mogul has denied that the rapper broke his foot and refused to give details why Diddy had to have an operation. “He did have routine foot surgery, but I'm not getting into specifics,” Diddy's representative told The Post. “It wasn't broken, it was a scheduled operation. He's doing great, and he's on the mend."

T.I. says evidence collected against him and statements he made to authorities in a federal weapons case were illegally obtained. Attorneys for the 27-year-old rapper, whose real name is Clifford Harris, filed motions Monday in U.S. District Court seeking to suppress evidence seized from his vehicle and statements he made on the day of his Oct. 13 arrest.

Kanye West Breaks Down at Paris Concert!!

French newspaper Le Parisian reports that Kanye West broke down as he tried to perform in a concert this past weekend.

He said the word, 'Mother' and just couldn't go any further. A back-up singer, the DJ and a guitar player came over to console him. It looked like he might collapse. He just couldn't continue. He just stood there in a spotlight, crying while the band continued playing.


Kanye then reportedly walked off the stage, regained his composure and returned to perform his hit song Stronger

The French paper described his return to the stage as follows:

He was very nervous, seemed to have gathered himself up, and had a lot of energy. He kept shouting out to the audience, 'I need you... I need you right now.' and the public was screaming back. It was magic. More at People magazine....

Kanye West may not have been aware of mom's surgery!

Sad developments continue in the Donda west story as Nancy Dillon of the New York Daily News reports from Los Angeles that Kanye West is devastated and seemingly "in denial" after a botched plastic surgery likely led to the sudden death of his beloved mother. A close friend revealed to Nancy and NY Daily News colleague Soo Youn:

"I don't think Kanye was aware Donda was getting the surgery, or certainly the extent of it," a family friend said. He loved and supported her just the way she was. He thought she was beautiful." More of this story here.

Hip-Hop Horror: Rappers being cautious now against surgical revelations of one doctor!

From 12.30pm to 1.57pm, today November 13th you can see a slew of malpractice lawsuits on TMZ that I talked about earlier that Dr Jan Adams paid half a million dollars to settle in 2001. They are disturbing! One lady said that her boobs and liposuction were botched, one said hers was allegedly in exchange for sex and that he got her pregnant and drunk, it is now obvious that Donda West ignored warnings to get a medical clearance. Could her life have been spared if he knew these things about this doctor's past?

I found this disciplinary action online that is so disturbing. The fact that he was on Oprah and Discovery Channel gave him a lot of credibility. They even say he lied on his credentials too!

MEDIA ATTENTION: TV Doctor who performed Donda West's surgery was cited for numerous DUI's and paid $500,000 in malpractice suits in 2001!

Details are starting to emerge on the death of Kanye West's mother. In 2001, we now hear from the California Medical Board that Dr. Jan Adams had to pay about $500,000 worth of malpractice judgements and in December 2006, along with April 2007 he was cited for several problems with DUI! We hear he has two DUI convictions! Was he impaired when he performed the procedure? TMZ has the mugshot booking photo of one of his arrests. Why was he actively practicing with DUI convictions? Kanye can sue the California Medical Board, Adams, the hospital and even Discovery Health Channel for hiring him, (I've seen even worse lawsuits) but it will NEVER bring back Donda! This is a tragedy in the worst proportions!!!

Please stop the hating on the media. It is not us that have done wrong. TMZ rightly informed the public and that is what the media is supposed to do. Dr Jan Adams has written the book "What every woman of color should know about plastic surgery", he's been on Oprah Winfrey's show to promote that book and he hosted a reality show on Discovery Health Channel "Plastic Surgery Before and After." Dr Donda West's autopsy begins in 15 minutes within this posting and we would know what caused that death in 3 hours. Dr. Adams told TMZ earlier that he thinks she may have died of pulmonary embolism or a heart attack! That was before he realized TMZ was digging into his other life. Now he won't even talk to CNN! His lawyer probably told him the "media" is exploiting him. Stay tuned!!!!

A plastic surgeon who claimed to have operated on Kanye West's mother before she died said he did nothing wrong, and that her death could have been caused by other medical problems. Dr Jan Adams is the host of reality show "Plastic Surgery, before and after." Meanwhile hear the doctor's side of the story. This is far from over as news organizations are reporting that other plastic surgeons refused to do the breast reduction and liposuction until they got medical clearance! Sad story. We hear the Los Angeles coroner's office is conducting a medical investigation.

Pray for Kanye West. we just heard that he's not doing very well. In fact he removed the post about his mother's death from his blog. Now confirmed to have been unresponsive to anesthesia having a cardiac arrest and respiratory failure during a tummy tuck and breast augmentation procedure.

Kanye West loses his dear mom, Dr Donda West!

Dr. Donda West, Kanye West’s mother, suddenly died last night, individuals close to the rapper confirmed. The cause of death was not released immediately, but she was reportedly in the Los Angeles area when she died. Early reports suggest Dr. West's death may have been the result of some form of a cosmetic surgical procedure. I met her when I took this picture with Kanye in 2004 at the album launching of his first CD "College Dropout." In fact, SHE TOOK THE PICTURE!!!! She was 58 years old.

Earlier this fall I reported an interview Kanye did on ABC's "Nightline" where she spoke about raising him and writing that book "Raising Kanye." She also showed us pictures of Kanye growing up. Ludacris plays elf DJ in Fred Klaus movie. Takes daughter Karma to premiere.

I took this picture in 2004 at the Ludacris proclamation at Atlanta City Hall, little did I know that Karma would turn out to be a cutie young chic. Even my K.J said mommy "who is that?" Karma Bridges is Rapper ludacris's only child and daughter. Her mom is Christine, an Atlanta attorney. In my picture, you see Chaka Zulu, Ludacris's Manager and Executive Producer at DTP records in Atlanta. The other picture was this past weekend at the premiere of Fred Klaus in L.A in which Luda plays an Elf!!!

Jay-Z is taking over Sirius radio for a week.....

NEW YORK (AP) -- Jay-Z is taking over Sirius Satellite Radio's hip-hop channel - for a week. The 37-year-old rap mogul will debut as host of Jay-Z Nation on Monday, Sirius Satellite Radio Inc. said Friday. He will take the helm at Hip-Hop Nation channel 40.

Jay-Z's latest album, "American Gangster," will be released Tuesday. The CD takes its title and inspiration from the new movie co-starring Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe about Harlem drug lord Frank Lucas.

"Jay-Z is one of the pre-eminent creative forces in the music industry," Sirius executive Scott Greenstein said in a statement. "Over the last decade, he has truly changed the face of hip-hop and music culture."

Jay-Z Nation will feature music from the rapper's albums and songs by his favorite hip-hop artists.

Rapper T-Pain checks into jail!

Rapper T-Pain turned himself in Friday after being wanted on an outstanding warrant for driving with a suspended license, police said. Officers observed T-Pain, whose real name is Faheem Najm, driving a Lamborghini Gallardo in June. At the time, his driver's license had been revoked for being a habitual traffic violator, officials reported. The 23-year-old Tallahassee native turned himself in at the Leon County jail and was later released. He was to perform Sunday at the Tallahassee Civic Center. A telephone message left with T-Pain's manager Friday night was not returned. T-Pain has quite a few cameos on several albums notably Kanye West, Britney Spears and others. He also has his own string of hits most notably "Bartender."

Rapper Da Brat arrested for hitting waitress with bottle.

Reports that Rapper Da Brat was arrested early this morning after a dispute at a night club in U.S. state of Georgia are now surfacing. Witnesses told police the 33-year-old rapper got into an argument with a waitress and later hit her over the head with a bottle of rum, Atlanta television station WSB reported. A bonding agent the DeKalb County jail says Da Brat, whose real name is Shawntae Harris, was booked into the jail on a charge of aggravated assault, a bonding agent at the jail said. We hear that waitress sustained lacerations to her cheek. The whole thing happened at J.D's club Studio 72 and authorities were wondering what she was doing in the Atlanta area since her address is listed in Chicago. You better ask somebody!
