LEONA LEWIS is fast becoming a gay favourite in America after refusing to let a broken down car ruin her night at a TV awards gala. The Bleeding Love singer faced a dilemma on her way to the first NewNowNext Awards show in New York on Monday (19May08) when her car broke down en route. Quick-thinking Lewis hailed a cab and made her own way to the prize-giving, organised by bosses at gay TV network Logo. She was rewarded for her efforts - Lewis picked up the Kylie Award as the Next International Crossover. She beat Robyn, Sia and Duffy.
