The Bang Bang You're Dead hitmakers were forced to scrap an upcoming charity gig in London on Friday (20Jun08) and now they have cancelled their planned appearance at Saturday's (21Jun08) Rock A Field event in Luxembourg. The band have issued a statement regarding Barat's illness, apologising to fans and insisting the singer is on the road to recovery. It reads, "Carl is continuing to rest in hospital and we are passing on everyone's kind words and good wishes, which are helping immensely."
