In Malawi, the former justice minister has been arrested in connection with a failed assassination attempt on an anti-corruption official. Ralph Kasambara is the fourth suspect to be arrested in the case. It follows the shooting in September of the budget director in the finance ministry Paul Mphwiyo, shortly before he was due to expose a government corruption scandal.
