WOMEN OF THE DAY: MA GURL ALYSSA REID HAS GONE TO THE DOGG!

When I tell you that Alyssa is going to be SO BIG, you ignore me. I was the first to interview the following people WITHOUT an album. Ummm, must I even remind you? Classified, K'Naan, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Soulja Boy, Young Jeezy AND MORE. This is how you appreciate music. Only 2 days ago did we have Youth Day Global in Toronto where Alyssa first got her start. She went from there at such a young age to the MMVA's and even tore up the Canadian Radio Music awards nabbing a few trophies.

KJ and I met Alyssa Reid and Snoop Dogg at Z103.5FM's Summer rush backstage

Now Alyssa Reid who coincidentally performed separately at another gig last year with Snoop Dogg have now teamed together in the U.K on her new video "The Game." BAM! Alyssa and Snoop both headlined the 2011 Z103.5FM's Summer Jam and KJ and I met them both. For so long I've been following this teen who has made a mark in the music business and gone global. It’s the second single to be lifted from her debut album of the same name, released last June.

The video itself does not come out till September 2nd 2012 and u can only see it EXCLUSIVELY on the Sun UK's website. Our friends at the Sun calls her the female Biebs which puts Carly Rae as.....ummm..OK I ain't gettin in between that comment-arama.

UK Sun: "Alone Again saw her make her name on the notoriously hard-to-crack music scene, cementing her place as Canada’s female answer to Justin Bieber."

Above are pics below of my day with Alyssa at the 2012 Canadian Radio Music Awards in Toronto where she won Hot AC among others. Pictured with us is Paul Loduca of the band Neverest--Another ORIGINAL story by MsKemi @HipHossip on Twitter

THE DYNAMIC ALYSSA REID AMONG LEADING NOMINEES FOR THE CANADIAN RADIO MUSIC AWARDS.

Awesome! That is what I said in my reply e-mail to the CMW family. Alyssa Reid is such a dynamic young lady and worked very hard in 2011. She deserved it. 5 nominations and the only female solo to sweep it all. Congrats Alyssa. Stay tuned for my interview with her at the Z103.5FM Summer Rush in our Best of 2011. Congrats to all the nominees.

The Canadian Radio Music Awards is pleased to announce the nominations for the 15th Annual edition.
