Rapper SEAN 'DIDDY' COMBS desperately wants to get married - and has already scouted out the perfect location for his wedding day. The star claims he is dating but hasn't had a serious girlfriend since splitting from longtime love Kim Porter - despite being linked to his R&B protege Cassie, as well as actresses Sienna Miller and Cameron Diaz in recent months. But the 38-year-old insists he wants to settle down very soon - and continue adding to his growing brood of children. He says, "I definitely want to get married. I've already chosen the church: St. Patrick's Cathedral on Fifth Avenue (in New York)."I want to have more kids, too - I want to have 10 in all." Combs has six children by four different women, including one-year-old twin daughters D'Lila Star and Jessie James by Porter. The Didster has picked a church but hasn't said who the bride will be??
Meanwhile Diddy's luxury car has been damaged after a collision with a drunk driver in New York. The hip-hop mogul's $400,000 Maybach was parked outside Manhattan's 1 Oak nightspot last Friday (06Jun08) when Charles Lorenzo ploughed his car into the expensive vehicle, causing damage to the back end of Combs' car. A number of other high-end vehicles were also hit in the incident. Lorenzo was later arrested by police for driving under the influence, according to TMZ.com.He also says he is still just DIDDY, despite claiming in a rap cameo that he has changed his name back to PUFF DADDY. The star, whose aliases have also included P Diddy, Sean Combs and Sean John, sent the music media into a spin when he announced he was returning to his original moniker during a spot on O'Neal McKnight's new single Check Your Coat. He raps, "They call me Puff Daddy... He's back. Yeah you heard me right - I said Puff Daddy." But the star insists he's still known as Diddy, and is so keen to quash speculation, he has posted a video online insisting his name is the same.
He says, "Your boy has not changed his name. I did not change my name. But if I did, I have the right to call myself anything I want." He also asks the media to stop speculating about his name, and start encouraging people to vote in the forthcoming U.S. presidential election. Combs continues, "I want to stress and ask people in power; the bloggers and the outlets, let's utilise our time for something more important, than if I'm changing my name. There are millions of Americans who aren't registered to vote. Let's get these guys to vote on my birthday, November 4th. That's my birthday present from you guys."
