Singer CHRISTINA MILIAN has split from producer THE-DREAM less than a year after the couple wed in Las Vegas. The R&B stars eloped in September (09) and Milian announced she was pregnant with her new husband's child weeks later. They exchanged vows for a second time in Rome, Italy in December (09) and welcomed daughter Violet in February (10). But the union wasn't to be and the marriage was over almost as soon as it began - although the couple chose to keep the news under wraps for the sake of their baby girl. Milian and her beau even posed for a U.S. magazine photoshoot in April (10), introducing their newborn tot to the world.Confirming the break-up, The-Dream's representative tells UsMagazine.com, "Terius 'The-Dream' Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. "The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward." The release of the statement coincides with the publication of photos of the producer on vacation with his assistant, Melissa Santiago.
The shots of the pair frolicking together in the Caribbean has raised speculation about the status of his relationship with Milian. It's The-Dream's second failed marriage - he was previously wed to singer Nivea, with whom he has three children.
I guess Love does not live afterall....Sad.
