An officer at Rikers Island has been suspended from duty for spending too much time in Lil Wayne’s jail cell. According to New York’s Daily News, Captain Raphael Collazzo spent 45-minutes with Weezy F Baby who is in solitary confinement for having a mp3 charger and headphones.A source told the Daily News, “We don’t know what he was doing. We know the [security] camera picked him up. The president of the union for corrections captains, Patrick Ferraiuolo, spoke to Collazzo who told him, ‘I have done nothing wrong…I don’t have any dealings with [Lil Wayne].”
The rapper is set to be released on November 4, after serving eight-months of a year-long sentence for a gun possession.
