Let's face it, Canadian hip-hop/urban music fans are always the forgotten ones. We watch BET too and we love all the shows especially 106 and Park, BET's Top 10 Live. It's a way to relax, watch our fave urban music stars visit the show, tell us what's going on in their lives and music career. Two days ago on October 5th 2010 we helped BET celebrate 10 years of 106 and Park but why can't we help them celebrate on a higher level? Ms Kemi of HipHossip.com, Canada's leading Music Blog and Canadian partner to BET's The Deal wants 106 and Park to travel north to Toronto and host the show live from OUR "Time Square." It is the awesome venue called Yonge/Dundas Square in Toronto. A perfect location with all the giant TV's satellitetransmission and good Summer weather slated for the day after school in June 2011. Now, won't that be awesome to finish up the MMVA's (Much Music Video Awards-Canada's VMA's) and then a week of 106 and Park in the nice warm weather June 2011. We also have Canadian Music Week and the 40th JUNOS in March 2011 in Toronto. Ms Kemi will co-host with Terrence and Rosci and bring in some of our hottest Canadian urban music stars for the world to see!! We got Marcus Voyce, Andreena Mill, Ferreira, Chach, Jully Black, Classified, Kim Davis, Chris Jackson, Ruby & Chikaadee, Prince Young, Saukrates, Choclair, Maestro Wes, Keysha Freshh, Gina Montana, Rapper Kay Jeezy, Jonny Roxx and even Drake and more. Sign this petition and I will hand deliver it to BET Headquarters in Washington, New York City and Santa Monica.
Soon as we get 10,000 signatures, I will start sending artists profiles I want to book on the show to BET. WE WANT 106 AND PARK TO LOOK AT US STRAIGHT FROM THE "C" AND COME STRAIGHT TO THE "C"!! Bout time right? Nuff said!
