#HIPHOSSIPDOTORG: DEPORTED 6 MONTHS AGO, GUN VIOLENCE CONTINUES IN MY FORMER CITY IN TORONTO, CANADA KILLING CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS 9.

Exactly 6 mos ago today, August 25th I was DEPORTED from Canada. A whole country cried #FOUL, nobody may ever know why. The Black Canadians said it was because I spoke too hard against the gun laws killing their children and the Conservatives wanted to rid black ppl from Canada. The Toronto Police Service said I did a lot in gun plagued communities for them, Canadian media said I antagonized the gun registry and the government made a big mistake by keeping the criminals and sending the good ones like me away. I did not commit any crime, never been charged or convicted regardless of anything u read online.

The criminals associates built many blogs online calling me criminal, fugitive, child abuser, deportee but somehow nobody could tell why I was deported. The Canadian Government needed a reason. Their reason was that my asylum visa was NOT renewable because after a pre-risk assessment, Nigeria was no longer dangerous for field Journalists. I can NEVER work in this country again as a field Journalist. Canada was a journey in my life. I was always a community activist but not against guns.

Without Canada I would not have started the HipHossip Music Foundation, using Music responsibly to End Gun Violence. The Canadian govt detained me for a week, not in the immigration detention center, but a maximum security women's prison with baby killers and murderers. This was so I could not flee to the United States with my children who were Americans. They wanted me deported to my dangerous country Nigeria. However, contrary to online reports, I NEVER fought my deportation or stopped it in Federal Court.

There is a lot of Gun Violence in the world, especially the music industry. My aim is to eradicate that culture. Thanks to all that supported my journeys. I have moved on now and put Canada behind me. I did my best and help solved almost 16 murders. To all the WHITE Canadians that supported my deportation, ignorance or racism does not excuse stupidity.

Special thanks to the Toronto Police Service who released this statement to the media

“She could reach an audience that myself as a police officer and us as a police service were having challenges to reach,”said Constable Scott Mills, who works in social media for Toronto police. “[But] she definitely made a lot of noise, which at times caused some stress. Sometimes, as a cop, in order to keep the streets safe, you have to dance with the wolves. I don’t want to call Kemi a wolf, because I think she has a good heart. But at the same time, not only in Toronto but in other jurisdictions, we have solved some major incidents because of her work.”...Globe and Mail Canada's National newspaper 8/27/12

“I’ve been criticized by the public and colleagues for associating with her,” said Const. Scott Mills of Crime Stoppers. “But the bottom line is we solved some crimes because of my association with her and we have received info in a timely way, where we got guns off the streets and saved lives.”...Toronto Star/Metro News 8/27/12

“There’s no doubt in my mind that we received information through working with Kemi that saved people’s lives,” Toronto Police Const. Scott Mills said “And if I have to take some criticism for saying that, so be it.”...Toronto Sun 8/27/12

I HAVE HEARD ALL THE CONSPIRACY THEORIES WITH THE GUN ACTIVISTS, NRA AND CANADIAN GUN REGISTRY THEORIES. I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR THE VICTIMS OF GUN VIOLENCE THRU SOCIAL MEDIA.

Thanks to Chief William Blair, Deputy Chief Peter Sloly Executive Command, Former Homicide Chief, 12D Suprintendent and now Deputy Chief Mark Saunders, Social Media CrimeStoppers Officer PC Scott Mills, Sgt Jeffrey Pearson of TPS Guns and Gangs unit, Sgt Tony Foccione of TAVIS (Toronto Anti-Violence Initiative Strategy) and the new Homicide Chief Greg McClean. Pls HELP solve an outstanding HOMICIDE in Toronto. BIGGEST thanks goes to the entire staff of the Toronto Sun who followed me thru this journey especially Crime Reporter Chris Doucette--Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo

TONITE IS THE 85TH OSCAR AWARDS. HOLLYWOOD NITE IS HERE!

Oscar statuettes are Made in Canada: Credits National Post
5am Nigeria: Tonite is the Academy awards. Watched it 5/35 years but never cover it on this blog. Not a Hollywood, Bollywood or Nollywood fan. I have not been into a movie theater in 19 yrs and can't sit thru a movie, not even on TV. I still have my double pack of Titanic here in Nigeria UNOPENED. I met James Cameron who told me NOT to EVER open it and that it's now worth a LOT! lol.

Enjoy the show tonight. I have a feeling this Argo movie and the classic Les Miserables will sweep it based on the BAFTAS, Golden Globes and SAG awards. If u are in Nigeria, it is a LIVE show on DSTV meaning that you have to be up 2am-5.30am early Monday morning. I'll be reading the tweets and bringing you the red carpet fashions the next day>>MsKemi @HipHossip on Twitter

WHO CARES WHAT BEYONCE AND JAY-Z WERE PAID FOR A CONCERT 7 YEARS AGO?

Jay-Z and Beyonce in Nigeria 2006
Sahara Reporters has uncovered a document indicating that a million dollars of Bayelsa State’s poverty alleviation fund was spent by then Governor Goodluck Jonathan on bringing American entertainers Beyonce and Jay Z to Nigeria in 2006.

In a letter stamped and signed by Bayelsa officials, N150 million (approximately a million dollars in 2006) was released from the state’s poverty alleviation fund for the first ThisDay Music Festival in Lagos.

The document came to light after a controversy was ignited over how much money American “reality TV” star Kim Kardashian was paid for a brief visit to Nigeria.

Ms. Kardashian, star of a US TV show about her idle rich family and who shot to international fame after a sex tape featuring her and her rapper boyfriend went viral, was reportedly paid half a million dollars for the 24-hour-visit last week.

Does anyone really care 7 years later? Can we not get Bey and Jay in the Nigerian beefs that is going to cost Nigerian fans the next concert? 50 Cent got N1Million too and so what if Kim got $500,000? Nigerians wanna see these stars and mingle with them. Just look at what ME and my pals Perez Hilton and Necole Bitchie became just starting as bloggers. You brand yourself, you become an item and they start talking about you. #SMH and fuckery

MAVIN RECORD'S DR SID LOSES DAD ONE DAY AFTER WE MET AT LLAM CONCERT. FATHER IS JUSTUS ESIRI, NIGERIA'S VILLAGE HEADMASTER VETERAN ACTOR.

Dr Sid on the red carpet during my intv at Darey's LLAM concert
Dr Sid and dad, the Village Headmaster Justus Esiri
I just saw Dr Sid at Darey's LLAM concert  2 days ago, and was joking with him about if he is a real doctor or he's just a Dr Dre type and that I heard his dad is some famous old Nollywood star. The bulk of my conversation had to do with the AUTOTUNE question part as the camera started rolling. Indeed his dad is Justus Esiri, the Village Headmaster in the old TV sitcom I grew up watching.

I heard Esiri died last nite and I did not want to tweet it until verified. Dr Sid is actually a degree holder in Dentistry as well and his answer to me about the autotune question was that it is NEEDED in music. I will post the video later. He put up a photo of his dad on his Twitter avatar and updated his bio as "RIP Dad" Late Mr Esiri is survived by wife, and six children, one of them being popular artiste Dr SID. He has not tweeted since.

Our thoughts and condolences are with him and his family and also his Mavin Records family.

HIPHOSSIPDOTORG: BULLYING THAT I WILL NOT TOLERATE NIGERIANS ON MY PAGE HARRASSING KAY JEEZY.

I am a Nigerian and many Nigerians are viewed by the international world as frauds, drug and human traffickers among other bad things. Below are postings last nite of Nigerians who said that my son KJ is not smart because he's a Black American and could not be the CEO of HipHossip or even blog half of the stuff here or his own blog TheKidreporter.com. These morons even made fun of him as a Black American as if that is a demeaning thing. Google my son as KJ the Kid Reporter and see 200 pages of him in activism, blogging, singing and more.

Faloni Moyosore Adejumobi Why some pple 4 naija dey fall my hand; they love being deceived sometime very easily with meaningless words.....how can a 12yrs old boy be as smart as a 9yrs old boy wey don sabi hardship weller for area here? don't you know fervently well that ordinary 9yrs old boy for naija go out smarts a 50yrs old Canadian or American citizens weller let alone their prigimage dem.. Abeg Come off it; dis fella na dullard compare to the way we dey take reasons in this part of we country! abeg make one rich kanadian american prigimage no kon dey deceive us for here jare.... We get levels and high intellectual standards pass dem; if not for our Agbaya leaders dem, wey greeds and selfish interests don turn their entire folks into foreigners....na naija for dey rule d world! God bless Nigeria........ FAM

Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo Faloni Moyosore Adejumobi I have to delete u from my page. Go read the 200 pages on Google my son has been commended for. Do not bully my son and for your info he did not go to a pilgrimage. He is American. I want ppl like u far away from my circle.

Olatunji Kenny Paul hahaha...BLACK AmeRicaN!i wonder y ur mum dnt take u to alabe xo u can av tribal marks on ur face,xo u can bcum d first black nigerian american or worefa u cald ursef to av a such?lack of respects to ur fadas land!!!

To be a BLACK AMERICAN is actually less DEMEANING than to be a NIGERIAN. For the Nigerians that made fun of my son this morning, stop messaging me, my entire fanpage has been closed. I want no relationship with FANS anymore. Calling my child an Akata-demeaning word for Black Americans saying he should get tribal marks now that he is in Nigeria is NOT funny, may God punish you, because African-Americans are actually better than we Nigerians. If they were not forced into ships as slaves, half the things, innovations and technology in America today may not have existed. Instead of insulting we Nigerians that have American kids, you should be proud. One day KJ may be the President and I want to see you BASTARDS then.

STOP calling Black Americans names. It is also Black History Month, maybe u can learn a thing or two from them. Being a Nigerian is nothing to be proud of these days. We are a FAILED country.

  • Killing children for money rituals
  • Stealing used condoms from rich men after sex for rituals
  • Stealing cars all over US/Canada and shipping them to Ng costing insurance companies losses etc etc.

STOP! ENUFF IS ENUFF! I don't own this blog. I work for it. My son is the CEO  and Music Director of HipHossip.com for the last 6 years since 7 y/o. Below are links to all his work. Maybe u can learn from a child instead of bullying him.

NIGERIA'S KING OF R&B DAREY REPORTEDLY SPLASHES N200 MILLION ON HIS AWESOME "LOVE LIKE A MOVIE CONCERT" CO-HOSTED BY KIM KARDASHIAN MANY CELEBRITIES.

At this memorable love concert, I interviewed several celebrities including one couple called Timi and Busola Dakolo. Timi said he won an Idols Africa show as the best singer. A sort of American Idol show. Asking him like I did with other lovers on the red carpet how he met his lovely wife Busola and what was the love charm involved. The love charm is what was so special that got you marrying this woman? He said "I met her PURE, she was as pure as an angel". Grinning a smile to my camera man, I asked him to tell me and he said he met her as a VIRGIN! Wow! So special. Busola is definitely a "prize wife".

Darey gave me 2 Press tickets and 2 regular tickets

I can't begin to tell you what I experienced when Darey DM'd me on Sunday morning on twitter asking me to come cover his much anticipated concert. I packed the suitcase and flew out of the house heading to Lagos after 7 years to experience this. Kim Kardashian had also already arrived in Nigeria to co-host with him. "The Love Like a Movie" concert was held at Eko Hotel and Suites Convention Center in the posh Victoria Island section of Lagos, Nigeria. The hashtag for the show was #LLAM.

Darey and I preparing for the red carpet show
When I arrived, we snapped some casual pictures, spoke briefly about the show and I had to get ready for the red carpet show and HipHossip's Fashion Police. The red carpet started with all kinds of socialites, singers, movie stars and famous people all over the Lagos entertainment scene. I interviewed several people all night and got to know many in the Nigerian Music scene. Darey spoke to me from the red carpet and was so joyful of his event which at the end was extremely successful. In the next posts, you will see more videos and pictures.

BLOGGER LINDA IKEJI RIPPED BY DUMB NIGERIANS::REDDINGTON HOSPITAL CONFIRMS THAT NIGERIAN POP STAR GOLDIE HARVEY DIED OF PULMONARY EMBOLISM.

Goldie Harvey
The hospital where the beautiful pop star Goldie Harvey die, Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos are now confirming that she died of Pulmonary Embolism. Pulmonary embolism (PE) is a blockage of the main artery of the lung or one of its branches by a substance that has travelled from elsewhere in the body through the bloodstream (embolism). PE most commonly results from deep vein thrombosis (a blood clot in the deep veins of the legs or pelvis) that breaks off and migrates to the lung, a process termed venous thromboembolism (VTE). I have a colleague at NBC news who died from this while we were in Iraq reporting in 2003. David Bloom also died of DVT while in the desert in Baghdad. Awareness of DVT is very important. I educated ppl about it during my 28 years as a Pharmacist in North America. Read more here

Meanwhile on another front, Nigerian Blogger Linda Ikeji is trending on Twitter because as usual dumbass Nigerians did not believe her when she announced Goldie's death. Apparently Linda is one of those bloggers who actually goes to the source and not the rest as I call them. Nigerian bloggers are the worst sometimes. Last week a bunch of them blogged stories about me saturating twitter and had me trending the whole 4 days but none had my name written in full. It was 10 quotes by me which included ripping mega pastors in Nigeria who are so shady. Linda did a great job, Denrele Edun is close to the deceased and friends with Linda...The END!

BREAKING NEWS: NIGERIAN POP STAR GOLDIE HARVEY PRONOUNCED DEAD AFTER RETURNING HOME FROM SUNDAY'S GRAMMYS.

The Late Goldie Harvey>> Credits: Nigerian Idol
LOOK at that heart shaped angel wings!! She's really now an ANGEL and even died on Valentine's Day!! That girl went to heaven with some big LOVE! What a day to die!

I never met her and I am still trying to know the who's who in the struggling yet talented Nigerian music industry. Goldie Harvey, a Nigerian pop star died last night. The musician was a contestant in the last Big Brother Africa reality show, died at Reddington Hospital in Victoria Island, Lagos. Her latest singles from her forthcoming African Invasion album are “Skibo” “Miliki” and ” Got To Have It,” have been enjoying heavy rotations on radio across Africa and Kay Jeezy was a big fan of her on Trace Urban Music Channel. Here in Ng, kids are sad all over as they are now coming home to hear. Gosh I hate listening to all these tracks after these young stars have gone. R.I.P

Her record label, Kennis Music has issued an official statement on her tragic passing:

“With a deep sense of loss, we announce the shocking death of our darling music star, Goldie Harvey. Goldie, 31, died on Thursday after she complained of a severe headache shortly after her arrival from the United States where she went to witness the Grammy Award. She was rushed from her Park View, Ikoyi, Lagos residence to her official hospital, Reddington, Victoria Island, Lagos, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival at exactly 7:30 p.m. in the evening. We consider this period a gloomy moment forus and the entire Nigerian music industry in view of the circumstance in which she passed away; the abundance of talent she exhibited in her short but eventful music career and the various opportunities her trip to the United States of America would have availed her.
“She is survived by her father, step- mother, brothers and sisters. We deeply sympathise with her family and fans all over the world and very grateful to all and sundry, especially, the vibrant Nigerian media for their concern and prompt reportage. We shall keep everybody informed as events unfold as we are devastated by the sudden loss.”

No funeral plans have been scheduled. She is from Ekiti state. No cause of death has been given. Goldie had just arrived back from the Grammy awards when she had a headache after the flight and by 7.30pm she was pronounced dead!  She is the second major young Nigerian entertainment figure to die this year. In January, Yoruba Nollywood start Bisi Kololafe, 26 also died from an undisclosed illness. I will contact the academy about Goldie'death just to make a statement. She was an aspiring singer and attended the show and could have been on that stage one day presenting, performing or winning. R.I.P Goldie--MsKemi @Hiphossip on Twitter

MEET ZONKE DIKANA, A SOUTH AFRICAN PHENOMENOM AT THE AFCON EVENT.

The beautiful talented Zonke

On her Facebook page, she describes herself as Jesus loving talented 'n blessed seed of Abraham! singer, songwriter (who writes alone, always),arranger 'n producer (no, there aint nothing I cant do thru Christ!) OK, she's a Christian singer but she had this taste of South African culture to her music which is what drew me to her performance.

Her outfit was out of this world and with the power of social media I tracked her on Facebook and Twitter. Zonke is defining style, music and talent. These are the acts I need to see on the Grammy red carpet next year. AMEN!

D'BANJ WOWS AT THE AFCON FOOTBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

D'Banj belting out the tunes in South Africa
Nigeria is one of the finalists in the African Superbowl aka African Cup of Champions. D’banj, a Nigerian pop artist brought the the house down at the grand finale of the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations on Sunday.

The ‘Oliver Twist’ and ‘On Top of the World’ star did a great job with both hits. I will get some video up very soon. ‘On Top of the World’ is the song behind SuperSport’s theme piece for Afcon 2013. D'Banj was recently signed to Sony Music Africa and was with Kanye West's G.O.O.D music for a while there. I met him very early in his career at the ThisDay Music Festival in 2006. Listen to the interview below.

The interview is here.

CHRIS BROWN ATTENDS KIDS EVENT EVEN AFTER BREEZY'S CAR CRASH.

Extra reports that Chris Brown was in a bad car crash on his way to an event for kids yesterday.

Brown’s rep told “Extra” the rapper, alone in his car, was headed to the Debbie Allen Dance Academy for a Symphonic Love Foundation event when two vehicles cut him off. The occupants jumped out, with cameras, and aggressively approached his vehicle.

In an effort to remove himself from the situation, he began to back down an alley at which point his was cut off by two additional vehicles. Brown’s vehicle was totaled as a result, but his rep said he is fine. Despite the accident, Brown still attended event for the kids.

JENNIFER HUDSON PERFORMS AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL WITH SANDY HOOK CHILDREN CHOIR

The minute Simon Cowell dissed her on Idol, she will go so big. Shame her mom never saw all this music career. What can't J-Hud do? She sang with the Sandy Hook Children's choir in the memory of the kids that died. They sang "America The Beautiful" and did a beautiful job at it.

Jennifer was just tapped recently to serenade the Obamas at their inaugural dance, a role she and Beyonce both had and they are back here at the Superbowl. How do you become an item so huge? Read my article in the Nigerian Tribune about how Beyonce and J-hud have become the authority

AWAITING BEYONCE AND THE COMMERCIALS FOR THE SUPERBOWL.

Reuters: Kelly, Beyonce and Michelle of Destiny's Child
No doubt the highlight of the Superbowl is Beyonce's performance with Kelly and Michelle. We already got word from one of the cheerleaders who spotted them REHEARSING!!. Here in Nigeria, that time is 2am aka 8pm over there in America. We are up all night on this Superbowl Half Time show.

Beyonce and her former bandmates have been coy about reports of a comeback at the Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana during the half-time show, but it seems they haven't been able to lock down rehearsals.

Cheerleader Courtney Labat, who will be performing with Beyonce on Sunday, was caught out on Friday when Entertainment Tonight reporter Rocsi Diaz asked her if rehearsals with Michelle Williams and Kelly Rowland have been good.

She replied, "Yeah, they've been awesome. We were actually able to see the show yesterday."

If the reports are true, it will be Destiny's Child first public performance in five years.

IS DESTINY'S CHILD PERFORMING WITH BEYONCE ON THE SUPERBOWL?

Credits: I am Beyonce .com
R&B singer Michelle Williams is keeping fans guessing about rumours of a Destiny's Child reunion at Sunday's Super Bowl half-time show.

Reports suggest headliner Beyonce will bring her pals Kelly Rowland and Williams onstage during her set at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, Louisiana to perform a special three-song medley, including renditions of their hits Bills, Bills, Bills and Survivor.

Williams has since insisted she's too busy and focused on her appearance in a new touring production of musical Fela! to fly to New Orleans for the get together - but conflicting interviews suggest she's not quite telling the whole truth.

In a recent chat with WRUG Media, she said, "I'm going to be in the musical Fela!. I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it (the reunion report) is not true. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry."

However, in another chat with online blog ThatGrapeJuice.net, Williams tries to laugh off the claims when asked directly if the Super Bowl reunion reports are false. She coyly replied, "I can't say that. I don't know where it (the rumour) came from."

Williams is due to kick off the touring production of Fela! in Washington, D.C. on Tuesday, but interestingly enough, the official ticketing website notes that the singer/actress will not be appearing in the play from January 31 through to February 3 - the same night as the Super Bowl.

Destiny's Child have not performed in public together since 2006.

Michelle Williams as you know is dating a Nigerian and was here last fall singing our National anthem at a Gospel festival.

BEYONCE ADMITS TO LIP-SYNCHING SO WHAT?

Beyonce hit up the NFL presser today and told everyone to get the hell up and suddenly belted the national anthem out to them. She then asked everyone  "Any questions?"

Stunned reporters then asked about the lip-synching, she simply responded, "I am a perfectionist and I practice until my feet bleed and I did not have time to rehearse with the orchestra...due to the weather, due to the delay, due to no proper sound check, I did not feel comfortable taking the risk, so I decided to sing along with my prerecorded track, which is very common in the music industry. And I'm very proud of my performance."
