MANCHESTER United will be investigated by Wall Street watchdogs over their handling of David Moyes’ sacking, after which shares leapt seven per cent — adding $209million to the giant club’s value. According to Moyes, he say he was stabbed in the back!

Dannii TheDutchess Dennis Bit of a coincidence that he's sacked and shares go through the roof at Wall Street. Really id be blaming the players to be honest. They get paid stupid money yet they play cacka poo. Cut their wages they'll soon start playing properly lmfao.

45 minsMichelle Watkins So nothing to do with the players not hitting the goal and not performing, all the managers fault I don't think. I'm not a united supporter but the players have to take some responsibility for where they are in the league, the manager can't physically play the game that's their job, and a job they have not done very well this season for the millions they earn

54 minsMichelle Watkins Perhaps some of the players should pay the price cause their performance has been rubbish, Rooney how can he justify his wages? Maybe a wage cut for the players might make them back and respect the manager in charge instead of playing rubbish and getting him sacked

45 minsJane Reilly Fgs...why does everythin have to be investigated. Live with the fact David Moyes was not good at his job..seriously have these 'watchdogs' got nothin better to do with their time then to waste it on someone gettin sacked?. If he was any good then he wud still be there..clearly he wasnt good at his job. If that was joe public who got sacked...'watchdog do-gooders' wud give a crap about it but cos he was a football manager for Man Utd that makes ALL the difference....well im my opinion is doesnt and the 'watchdogs' need to get a better job!

3 minsDave Herdsonhttp://www.marketwatch.com/investing/stock/manuThis is why Mufc is being investigated by Wall Street - insider trading, even thou the writing was on the wall for moyes. It had to be a directors decision which was obviously leaked pre meeting. Thus shares dropped with people selling shares on a valid rumour and soon as confirmed it was buy buy buy pushing prices up 8%
