12yo Running Trump Campaign Office In #Colorado makes threatening calls to RNC delegates #HNNPolitics

His name is Weston Imer. A kid running the office with his mom. His mom is telling the media “You have a responsibility to your children to teach them,” she told the station.

Imer said that last year he was bullied at school, but now he’s planning on a future White House run of his own.

“Watch for me – 2040,” he told KDVR. “Barron Trump, if you’re watching, in 2040 I’ll take you as my running mate.”

After news of Imer's story spread, Guardian US reporter Ben Jacobs confirmed he was the same 12-year-old who reportedly made threatening calls to try to convince anti-Trump delegates to the RNC to back the New York city billionaire.

According to Jacobs' reporting, Imer made calls identifying himself as speaking on behalf of both the Colorado GOP and the Trump campaign as he encouraged support for an effort to "free the delegates" after a contentious delegate selection process.
