Troopers gave the smiling 1-year-old a bath, the Register Herald reports. The boy's mother had been arrested on suspicion of drunken driving, and troopers said they found him covered in vomit.

Fox 5 reported:  "He had just started to nod off when Child Protective Services arrived." This precious little 1-year-old boy was bathed, wrapped in a towel, then cradled by Senior Trooper D.C. Graham. He was found covered in vomit in the backseat of a car when his mom was arrested during a DUI stop. Thank you Trooper Graham for your care and compassion and for putting a smile on this little guy's face. Photos courtesy: West Virginia State Police Princeton Detachment
