A representative for pop singer CHRISTINA AGUILERA has dismissed reports she is locked in a bitter feud with record label bosses over disappointing sales of her latest album, Bionic.

Aguilera's fourth studio album debuted at number three on the U.S. Bill board charts, but quickly fell out of the Top 10, with sales barely hittng a disappointing 200,000 in its five weeks of release. Music bosses are in a panic to boost sales as the new mum fights to com pete with racy acts like Rihanna and Lady Gaga, reports the New York Post.

A source tells the publication, "The label has done its part, but she's headstrong. There have been candid conversations between her and the label about connectivity, but it doesn't seem that she's been open to that dialogue." However, a spokesperson from RCA denies the label is at odds with Aguilera, and insists bosses back her efforts, saying, "(Aguilera) is a pillar of the RCA Music Group and is an undeniable talent with one of the great est voices of our time. She continues to push herself as an artist, and we are behind her efforts 100 percent." Aguilera's manager, Irving Azoff, further disputed the claims: "I am the one who deals with the label, and this couldn't be further from the truth."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA has taken to her website to dismiss reports she's upset by LADY GAGA's attempts to copy her more risque and dramatic looks. The Beautiful singer insists comments she has made about the Poker Face hitmaker's style similarities have been taken out of context.

Aguilera writes, "I would like to take a moment to clarify something that has been brought to my attention... It is very easy for comments to be taken out of context and create unnecessary drama, especially between us women. So I would like to tell you all directly, so my words can not be misconstrued to sell someone else's story.

"I have absolutely nothing against Lady Gaga or any other female artist in this business. I think she is great, and I appreciate any woman fearless enough to go against the norm. "She has earned her success with hard work and a clear focus and I have nothing but respect for that. There is room for all of us on everyone's iPods. "This is not the first time I have been unfairly pitted against another female artist, but it will be the last time I comment on the matter." The fake feud between Aguilera and Gaga began when Akon accused the new mum of copying Gaga's look for her comeback.

MTV in New York announced today that Christina Aguilera is set to perform at the 2010 MTV MOVIE AWARDS airing on June 6 at 9 p.m. ET on MTV in Canada. In addition, Tom Cruise, Cameron Diaz, Zac Efron, Jonah Hill, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Steve Carell, Miranda Cosgrove, Shaun White, Vanessa Hudgens, Sean “Diddy” Combs and Russell Brand are the first presenters to be announced. CHRISTINA HAS A NEW YEAR RESOLUTION!!

Christina Aguilera's New Year's resolution isn't new at all.

"To continue having the best life ever" is her resolution for 2010, she said while hosting a New Year's party at Tao Las Vegas Thursday. "I paved the way for the work this year [2009]."

Her 2010 is shaping up to be extremely active, with a new album on the way and her movie ("Burlesque"), costarring Cher, set to be released. The two of them will also be presenters at the Golden Globes on January 17.

"The album is done, the movie I'm [still] filming," she said. "Doing film is a whole different animal. ... The schedule is grueling, but it's been really amazing and an incredible learning experience."

Of all the moments in 2009, the one that most sticks out, she noted, was seeing son Max, who turns 2 January 12, celebrate Christmas -- which she considers the highlight of the year.

"That was the best memory, his face and seeing his everything come to life with Santa," she says. "It was really amazing."

CHRISTINA AGUILERA TO LAUNCH FASHION LINE.

Christina Aguilera is set to launch a fashion line. The 'Dirrty' singer is in talks with UK high street fashion chain Topshop - which also sells a collection by British supermodel Kate Moss - to launch the range, which could earn her up to $1.8 million. A source said: "Sir Philip Green, who owns Topshop, has started talks with Christina and hopes to sign a deal soon. She has visited his offices in London and they are thrashing out the details." Green - who owns the Arcadia group, which includes Topshop - is said to be particularly keen to secure a range by Christina as he believes it would compliment Kate's well.

The source added to Britain's the Sunday Mirror newspaper: "Philip loves her style and believes she would add something new to Topshop. Christina is the blonde bombshell who is into pop whereas Kate is the rock chick and model. She'd appeal to a younger shopper than Kate." Kate recently extended her contract with the store for another three years, and revealed she can't wait to start work on her new lines. She said: "The last two years have been an exciting experience and Topshop has given me the perfect platform to develop my own collection, which is something that I have wanted to do for a long time.

CHRISTINA AGUILERA's 10-month-old son MAX is a fast developer - he's close to taking his very first steps. The proud pop star mum and her husband Jordan Bratman are watching Max like a hawk as he struggles to stay on his feet, so they don't miss the milestone. Aguilera says, "He is so close to walking now, it's crazy.

"He is a mover and shaker. He is constantly moving, constantly banging on things. I don't know what that means; maybe he is a drummer in the making, I don't know. He is just so much fun and I have the best time with him. Every single day is a way for me to see life through brand new eyes. It really is an incredible thing for me every day."
