Having a ‘record breaking’ 6 songs in the TOP 10 at the same time on the hip hop based website “the CANADIAN INDIE MOVEMENT”…He has shared the stage with Busta Ryhmez, 112, Usher, Serani & many more… Chris Jackson is being heard world wide…& is taking the music industry by storm! Born in New Orleans, LA & raised in the Mile High City of Denver, Co. Chris moved to Canada at an early age to pursue his dreams of music. Performing in different groups as well as being a feature act himself, he gained recognition for his smooth vocal abilities. Never having any vocal or musical training, Chris credits his talents from his father Kevin Jackson Sr. While working with local & well known acts abroad Chris is presently working on the much anticipated double disc collection “ACTION” set to be released 2010.

Chris Jackson is a dynamic Canadian R&B singing sensation and we were shocked to get a phone call tonite in our HipHossip offices that he wanted us to debut his next single TONITE and exclusively to us!! We had to rush to the corporate office and blog this exclusive!! The sweet melodies that Jackson puts in his songs reflects here and goes with that fave cup of hot chocolate on a cold winter's nite laying in your man's arms. "Oh" is a single that made me go.....Oh yeah. Chris is awesome, dynamic and a singer that should be highly reckoned with! This single gets 5 Hossip stars and a perfect 10!
THE LATEST SINGLE FROM THE UPCOMING ALBUM "ACTION"
WRITTEN BY CHRIS JACKSON PRODUCED BY BLAQ OF ZRN MUSIC & MIXED BY PUREFIRE...
This is a mixture of simple hip-hop lyrics coming from a young Asian man and a black R&B singer. Don't look at the video first. Listen then watch. This is what Toronto is about. Diversity at it's best. Simple lyrics where J.Reyez raps at a steady comfy speed to my ears and I can understand every word not all that garbage that I keep hearing and can't understand the lyrics. This is a perfect 10. This song should be getting a regular rotation in US and Canadian urban markets as well as video rotation. R&B is #1 right now in Canada versus the US. The only thing that can compare to this on any USA level is Tim Campbell's "Beautiful."
"J. Reyez and Chris Jackson folds up two genres like a swirl of cake mix and chocolate baking some crispy sounds to your ears in "little Miss Innocent" This is music at it's best from Canada".....Ms Kemi
