BRANDY REMOVES THAT OFFENSIVE TATOO.

Singer BRANDY was back in the tattoo parlour this week (begs24Jan11) to modify her "phallic"-looking skin art. The R&B singer had an image of Hindu deity Lord Ganesh inked on the inside of her wrist last month (Dec10) and she showed it off by posting a picture on Twitter.com, prompting fans to point out the elephant-headed god's trunk resembled male genitalia.

Brandy agreed to alter the piece and her tattoo artist has now added a floral design over the trunk. The artist, Peter Koskela, tells TMZ.com, "I wanted to fix the offending tip... remove the whole phallic aspect. I told her I'd just swing it upwards." In Hinduism, Lord Ganesh is worshipped as god of wisdom and remover of obstacles.
