QUEEN LATIFAH TO PRODUCE NEW HIT SHOW CALLED "SINGLE LADIES PUT A RING ON IT."

Queen Latifah has taken inspiration from Beyonce for a new TV comedy series about a group of girlfriends who are unlucky in love - she's named it after the star's megahit Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It). The rapper/actress' new show, Single Ladies, revolves around the love lives of three women who will be played by Clueless star Stacey Dash, Lauren London and LisaRaye McCoy. And Dash is confident the program will be a hit.

She tells Vibe.com, "My character is very similar to my own life because I've never been single. Literally, since I've been 17 years old. She's never been married, the character that I'm playing, whereas I've been married three times, so that's the difference. It's a really good script." Rehearsals and filming for the VH1 show begin in Atlanta, Georgia this week

I thought we had that before called "Living Single." I guess they want a ring on it this time around. LOL!

Remember Rapper Yo-Yo? She's smoking HOT as that Host/Judge on VH1's "Miss Rap Supreme." (Which we don't get in Canada!) Shame on the Cdn Bureaucracy!

Yo-Yo (born Yolanda Whittaker on August 4, 1971) is a Grammy nominated American hardcore rapper and actor. Much of her music has advocated female empowerment, denouncing the frequent sexism found in rap music. Yo-Yo dubbed her rap crew the IBWC, which stood for the Intelligent Black Woman's Coalition. I remember her beefing days with female rapper QL now known as "Queen latifah." You have to be in your 30's -40's to remember this. Most recently she has become the host of an MTV reality show called Miss Rap Supreme. She now resides in Los Angeles, California with her two children. On April 14, 2008, VH1's "ego trip's Miss Rap Supreme" show premiered, of which Yo-Yo is a host/judge. I follow the show online.
