HAPPY LABOUR DAY US AND CANADA: MESSAGE FOR MY NIGERIAN FANS.

S/O to the kids at Kinderville, Ibadan, Nigeria
GOOD MORNING NIGERIA: It's Labour Day in America and Canada. As a Nigerian-American, this is the day the government gives us to rest after the long hot summer. Then school begins everywhere tomorrow. The biggest question many new ppl ask on my page will be answered now. A lot of you want to meet me one on one, private chat etc.

Here is the answer: I am a public figure around the globe especially in North American cities. I don't meet or talk on the phone with anyone in Nigeria due to security reasons. You have to attend my events when the next one happens. I am based in Ibadan and all my events are there. This fall I am on assignment and I will be in many countries covering music awards and more. Follow my movement on Twitter @HipHossip @Snitchlady @TeenToronto.

I do NOT call anyone in Nigeria personally unless it is FAN day, a day I call 10 lucky fans to say hello on a blank network phone. The phone belongs to one of the communication providers that sponsor it when I do it. My personal phone number does not exist. I carry a Samsung Galaxy S4 phone that is my office with blogger, FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Tumblr Yahoo mail and Instagram apps on it for my work. I never recharge the number to make calls.

My mother will tell you I cannot be reached by phone. They text that number on my S3. I never call out of it. I am not a PHONE call person. In Canada and US we have landlines and my mobile phone only went out with me to news conferences or photo uses. Remember, your Nigerian public figures don't give their numbers out except a few like my dad (who you like insulting here for some really stupid reason.) A man that has helped 3 million Nigerians get jobs.

My page is about to get very exciting and if you are blocked, you will not be coming back. Many of you had several chances. You can like my other pages. My talk show goes LIVE this Friday Sept 6th at 9pm Nigerian and UK time, 4pm Toronto, NYC, ATL and 1pm Los Angeles and Vancouver Time. Tune in!

So finally, I do not meet with anyone in Nigeria due to the high rate of kidnappers, ritualists, militants and more. My security detail is important. I am the daughter of a high ranking politician aside from anything else. You have to come to my PAID events to meet me. I only take photographs and don't do autographs.
Love my fans

SFTC: HAPPY VICTORIA DAY FROM CANADA.

Victoria Day celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday (May 24th). Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, of which the Queen is head. Victoria Day is always on a Monday, and thus the holiday is part of a long weekend, which is commonly referred to as the Victoria Day Weekend, the May Long Weekend, the May Long, or the May Two-Four (a case of beer there is called a "two-four" and many of these are consumed over the holiday). The weekend is also called the May 24th weekend, although it does not necessarily fall on May 24th.

The Victoria Day Weekend always falls on the weekend before Memorial Day in the U.S.

The Victoria Day Weekend is the first popular weekend for spring / summer travel. Lots of people open up their cottages, plant gardens, or just get away. Expect crowds at resorts and hotels and busy highways. Fireworks displays are common, especially on Monday night.

Banks, schools, many stores and restaurants are closed on the Monday. Call ahead to find out about other attractions and tourist spots. Public transportation will run on a holiday schedule. Have a safe one!!

WE REMEMBER MLK...............

Martin Luther King Jr. Day is a United States holiday marking the birthdate of the Reverend Martin Luther King, Jr., observed on the third Monday of January each year, around the time of King's birthday, January 15. It is one of four United States federal holidays to commemorate an individual person. King was the chief spokesman of the nonviolent civil rights movement, which successfully protested racial discrimination in federal and state law. His famous line was "I have a dream that boys and girls, black and white will be able to play together and go to school together." He was assassinated in 1968.

Talk to your children about MLK.
Those "white only" images really disturbed K.J but he needs to know how his country used to be at one time. He fought for freedom even though we are not in the U.S. "Free at last! Free at last! Thank Goodness we are free at last!" That has been played all morning on Toronto radio stations.
I wanna personally thank Larry Page of Google Analytics in California for sending me these logos to use on my site including the search one above. Absolutely creative guys!

The dream as they call it has come true as tommorow, Obama is going to become the first black President. A day after the MLK holiday. Thanks to Late President Reagan for making this day a holiday.

PLEASE READ: THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS ON THE 7TH DAY.

Could the Kid Reporter have been "naughty" all year after putting his list in that mailbox? Santa shall asess that Dec 25th 2008.

Even Santa is plugging the famous Nov 5th cover of the Toronto Sun.

Most of you have heard the song "The 12th day of Christmas." I ranted all evening about the 7th day of Christmas December 18th, my Principal gave to me a $100 gift certificate and a $50 movie pass for tickets, gift shop and concessions and no damn partridge in a pear tree. BTW, my neighbor has a pear tree! WTF is a partridge? No one has ever seen that bird before?

My goal of this note is to tell people to "give" during the holidays. When I was in Baltimore in the hey days of my career, I would buy so many toys, wrap them and give them out in kid hospitals on Christmas day dressed as Santa while Eni and Oyin now almost 22 and 18 will dress as elves at 6 and 10. Things changed for me as you know due to what happened to my family and as I am starting over again in Canada, my goal is to reach the unfortunate and give back to Toronto some day.Though some consider me as a celebrity of sorts here, my goal everyday is to make someone SMILE!

DO it for someone. Anything....Help an old lady carry her groceries to her door, allow someone to check out in the store before you. Say good morning to a store manager or fast food employee. People that serve us daily. KJ always says hi to Bianca the cashier at the drug store. He tells her she looks like Mrs Morrow, his old teacher who retired and Bianca said Mrs Morrow is her mom (not true) but uses it to keep an eye on KJ. When we stop by, she'll ask him about his current grades that "my mom said to check." LOL!

On Dec 18th at 3pm, when the caller ID showed TCSB, (Toronto Catholic School Board) I was scared! Normally it's KJ is sick or something else drastic or I forgot his lunch! (That only happened once) This time It was Mrs Beals from the Principal's office. She asked if I would like a $100 gift certificate for a major gourmet supermarket Loblaws/department store. This is Canada's SuperWalmart! I really thought I was dreaming! Then she went on in the next sentence to ask if I wanted a $50 movie pass for Cineplex too? BTW, that's where my older son works. He watches the movies and checks all the reels before he can show you the public on opening day to make sure all tapes came in intact from Hollywood. (lucky dog) A $50 pass for tickets and concessions--soda, popcorn, KFC, Burger King etc at most Canadian theaters.

Finally she asked if KJ would like some extra winter clothes and a coat and that som ebrand new clothers came in from a retailer. I said yes and KJ took his picks. He even got this $100 looking winter coat. I was amazed! Thru the generousity of some Canadians out there, God is giving me back what I may have done in the past for others I thought.... but regardless, the word "newcomer" here in Canada is major! The immigration people give you tons of resource lists as you leave the airport for schools, housing, employers, clinics, so many things and the government and private sector fund a lot of programs for new immigrants called settlement services. I have taken advantage of many of these.

Canadians are wonderful people, no matter if you are rich, poor or average, if you are NEW here, they help you settle down and enjoy your new HOME. Go out today and make someone smile because there is TRULY A SANTA CLAUS!

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY IN THE UNITED STATES!

The Summer Camp called to see why KJ was absent today and he got on the phone and said....."Mr Nathaniel, it's a holiday today in MY COUNTRY! That's like you going to camp on Canada Day!" How harsh kid! But he's telling the truth. As you know, KJ is the only American Boy in his entire school which is a record! The girls always sing him Estelle's song daily.

The True Meaning of Easter!

Like how I decorated the cross in front of our church? Last night during my church's Easter vigil, my son KJ got baptized in a very HOLY ceremony. We catholics are very strict about how things are done in our church. KJ became a full baptized child of GOD. What is the true meaning of Easter? Before my son was baptized, I made him watch a movie he actually wanted to. There are many versions of this movie but I chose the Mel Gibson version. This was "The Passion of the Christ." My 7 year old son cried his eyes out to see how they suffered Jesus and why he died for us. He truly understood. Easter is not about egg hunts, bunnies and colored eggs? It is about the one that died for our sins. Remember that. Happy Easter to everyone from Kemi, my family and Keminications Media
