JADEN SMITH WANTS TO BE A MOVIE STAR!!

Will and Jaden Smith
Jaden Smith and father Will Smith : Credits Wenn

By the tradition of pre-industrial societies, Will would be teaching his son the finer points of hammering pig-iron into wrought iron.

Instead, he's teaching Jaden to be a movie star. The details change, but traditions remain.

In my career, I've probably interviewed 100 children of famous people who followed their parents' careers -- from Nancy and Frank Sinatra Jr., to Kate Hudson to Josh Brolin, to the Bridges brothers, to Maxim Shostakovich, to Richard Zanuck and two of Kirk Douglas's kids (the charismatic Michael and the morose Eric, the one who ended up dying of a drug overdose). RAPPER/ACTOR SMITH ANNOYED AT SECOND OSCARS LOSS

WILL SMITH was disappointed he missed out on an Oscar for his role in THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS - because he was convinced it was "my time". The star has received two Best Actor Academy Award nominations to date - for Ali in 2001, and again for the 2006 drama. He was beaten to the podium in 2002 by Denzel Washington - for his role in the critically-acclaimed Training Day - and he and lost out to Forest Whitaker's Last King of Scotland portrayal at the 2007 Academy Awards.

But Smith admits it was Whitaker's win that upset him the most. He says, "Denzel took it for Training Day; fantastic film. When you can get nominated and invited to the (Oscars) party, it's huge. (But) I can always tell when things aren't right for me at the time; I didn't feel like that was the time. "But, for Pursuit of Happyness, I actually felt like it was my time and I still didn't win it! I was like, 'Hey, it's my time! Wait, hold on, that other boy's taken my thing!'"

ANGELINA JOLIE FORCES RAPPER COMMON TO REVISIT TATTOO RULE.

Rapper COMMON has been forced to reconsider his rule about tattoos on women after co-starring with ANGELINA JOLIE in new action film WANTED. The Chicago-born star isn't a fan of skin art and has always insisted his assistant keeps her tattoos to a minimum. But then he met Jolie, who proved once and for all that tattooed women can be classy. He tells WENN, "I have told my female assistant not to get too many tattoos because I tell her she'll still want to look ladylike. "That may sound old fashioned, but you want to be in a dress and still look ladylike.
"I understand that people use them for expression. Angelina still looks like a lady and she got a lot of tattoos, so I guess my point got broke down when my assistant mentioned

BEASTIE BOYS' YAUCH DEFENDS ATTACK ON NESTLE IN NEW FILM .

http://content.clearchannel.com/Photos/musicians/beastie_boys/adam_yauch_GI.jpg

BEASTIE BOYS star ADAM YAUCH has a bitter taste in his mouth - after bosses at food and drink manufacturer NESTLE hit back at his movie which criticised the company's bottled water products.Yauch screened his documentary film Flow at last weekend's (begs21Jun08) U.S.Nantucket Film Festival, claiming the Swiss-based firm is being environmentally irresponsible. The film, distributed by Yauch and his company Oscilloscope Pictures, blames the growing privatisation of the world's fresh water supply partly on the company, and others including Pepsi and Coca-Cola.

A source tells the New York Post that Nestle bosses were furious at Yauch after hearing the company's name mentioned, revealing, "She (a company representative) stormed out about an hour in when the film named Nestle. The company obviously had no idea this content was in the movie. She told an audience member, 'That was one-sided,' on her way out and didn't come back for the question and answer session afterwards." Yauch has refused to apologise for his honestly in the footage. He tells the New York Post, "They (Nestle) put pretty pictures of springs and forests on the bottles, but in this movie they're getting called out. I think it's great. They lock down water as a commodity they can buy and sell. It's terrifying." Yauch's film is set to debut in New York this September (08).

RAPPER/ACTOR WILL SMITH WANTS TO STAR IN BOLLYWOOD MOVIE!

Will Smith wants to star in a Bollywood film. The 'Hancock' actor - who has made his name by landing lead roles in a series of big blockbuster action movies - thinks it is time to try his hand at a different genre. He said: "I've made a couple of speculative deals in India. We've got some Bolly-Will movies going on!" Will also dismissed claims he is planning to make a follow-up to his hit movies 'Bad Boys' and 'Bad Boys 2'.

He added to 'T4 Sunday' presenter Steve Jones: "I probably won't do that. There have been pitches, and the concept is genius for 'Bad Boys 3' but I've moved on now." It was recently reported Will had begged director Michael Bay to let him reprise his role for a third time because his son is such a big fan of the movies. Will and Martin Lawrence starred in the first film in 1995, with the sequel being released eight years later.
