I got this tape in September and you know how crazy it's been with all the mixtapes. The tape is doing great business in Atlanta. The outlets keep running out of product. There is a great deal of excitement in both N. & S. Carolina. They are playing it on the radio in SC. "Rock It" is the hot single on there.

Internationally and locally acclaimed artist, Luu Breeze, will be released a mixtape Friday, September 19th entitled "The Pre-Topic" to be available online for free download, hand to hand and in select store locations. The Pre-Topic is a prelude to Luu's much anticipated "Topic of Discussion" retail street album which is expected to hit stores before the end of 2008.

The Pre-Topic gathers features and drop appearances from Spark Dawg (of Scarface's Green City), Yung Texxus (of Scarface's Green City), Mayhem Morearty, Richie Sosa, Page, Drake, Rez Digital of OTA Live, DJ P-Plus and many more.

Production credits include Mega Man (G-Unit, Blood Raw, D-Block), Majik (Jim Jones - "Weatherman"), Mike Payne (Ol' Dirty Bastard, Killer Mike, Jadakiss, Styles P, Rhymefest) and platinum producers The Runners (DJ Khaled, Young Jeezy, Lil' Wayne, Rick Ross) on the K-Yung & Spark Dawg collaboration "Glance at My Wrist".

Rumors have linked the Toronto native to the Disturbing Tha Peace label, made famous by rapper Ludacris, this past year. In a recent July interview with AllHipHop.com Luu admitted to strong interest and discussion with Atlantic Records, though the rapper is still currently independent and will officially be launching his own label in the upcoming months.

ON THE PHONE YESTERDAY: DID I ACTUALLY TELL JUELZ SANTANA TO STOP SMOKING TOO MUCH?

So, Juelz Santana was on the line during the Ludacris conference call yesterday as the moderators said we shouldn't hang up that there was a surprise person for us. So I logged in my question as I love surprises. In August 2008, Dipset founder Cam'ron revealed that he had sold Santana's contract to Def Jam Records for $2 million. The rift within the Dipset hierarchy continues, following the separation of Jim Jones from the crew earlier in the year.

Despite selling him to the Def Jam label, Juelz says he is not mad at Cam, and says he's finally free to do his own thing.

"Yeah, I'm free, and ready to do me," Santana said. "But it's still Dipset for life. It's just going to be a new chapter."

He revealed that he had inked a joint 50/50 joint venture with Def Jam, where he will release his next album, Born to Lose, Built to Win.

In August, Santana stated that his upcoming album "Born to Lose, Built to Win (The Rise of the Skull Gang)" will not be released any time soon but will come out in 2009. According Juelz, the reason for delaying is not label but something with changing album.

Meanwhile the Skull Gang mixtape comes out today as you heard. You remember a video of Santana and his pals smoking in a Toronto nite club and the sprinklers started while the smoke alarms were going off BELOW! Juelz says he's coming back and I promise to do an exclusive interview with him.
