I just learned from a high ranking APC official source that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu the leader of the party suffered a massive stroke on Thursday. Contrary to the several rumours online the party leader was in Nigeria when this happened and is hospitalized in a private location. Any stories online purporting that he was flown to London or the USA is false as his whereabouts in Lagos has not been disclosed due to privacy reasons. 

Some media outlets online are reporting him being in virtually 3 countries at the same time, some even quoting a spokesman saying he is on vacation and his health should not be so much of a big news item. At this time #HNNAfrica can only tell you that Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is in very critical condition as he suffered a massive stroke on Thursday and is hospitalized in Nigeria. I have no reports of cancer of any kind or dementia as reported by several non credible blogs and websites. 

His wife and former Lagos First Lady Remi Tinubu spoke at a town hall meeting in Victoria Island Friday the 12th of September. We wish him a speedy recovery.
