The 63 y/o man Nigerian man who was vomiting profusely in his seat on the ARIK Air flight from Lagos to JFK in New York City has now DIED on the flight. I was briefed by an official out of NYC Port Authority who told me it is NOT EBOLA and that the man who was traveling alone died of a heart attack. The CDC also told me that he did NOT test positive for EBOLA!
Centers for Disease Control and Health Department members in protective gear swarmed the Arik Air flight landing at JFK’s Terminal 4 after the 63-year-old man, a U.S. citizen, died on the plane about an hour before landing at 5:45 a.m.
They have taken the BODY out of the plane and decontaminating the plane. They DID NOT tell me where the other passengers were. Plane left Nigeria Wednesday night and arrived Thursday morning after a 10 hours flight which is the direct flight time from LOS TO JFK
Fears ran very high that Ebola had arrived to New York City. Nigeria has been Ebola Free since Oct 2nd 2014 when the last quarantined patient went home, and the country will be getting certified by the World Health Organization on that note. No word on the other Nigerian patient in Madrid, Spain yesterday who was also taken off an Air France plane as he was having fevers and shivers.
