BBC Reports that South Sudan's President Salva Kiir, and the rebel leader Riek Machar, have signed a ceasefire, committing to end the conflict that has devastated the country.
The agreement was signed at talks in Ethiopia.
But consultations will continue on the contentious issue of a future government and power-sharing. There are unconfirmed reports that Mr Machar will return to his job as vice-president.
