My American home state Maryland's Governor Larry Hogan was seen yesterday raising Childhood cancer awareness. He too is battling cancer daily and shows his Facebook fans his daily activities, treatment and more. He wrote on his FB page:
"I had a blast today at the Washington Redskins game raising awareness for #ChildhoodCancerAwarenessMonth with five of my friends from theCool Kids Campaign! We were overwhelmed by a standing ovation and I feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to raise awareness and funds for such an important cause! Want to help us fight childhood cancer? Text LLSCURES to 80077 to donate $10!
Since my diagnosis I have met countless individuals who, just like me, are fighting cancer and their strength and positivity has inspired me beyond words. Some of the strongest people I have met are the children who approach their cancer diagnosis with unimaginable faith and bravery. Today is a very special day, and I am honored to have this opportunity with these extraordinary kids who are fighting battles much more difficult than my own."
