#HNNPolitics Is @raufAregbesola AVOIDING @Iyiosun #Omisore's Petition Papers by hiding in #Lagos? #OsunDecides

Omisore writes on his Facebook page

AS USUAL!! Aregbesola is out of state! He won't accept the petition from the election tribunal

The Baliff of the Election Tribunal has tried O! The Judicial Skelewu dancing governor is out of state (maybe in Lagos) attending to 'state matters'! He has asked that no court orders be received.

Why? Does he need time to consult with his 'out of state' partners on how to handle the situation? Is more money being mobilized to compromise INEC officials or the members of the Tribunal? Is he seeking opportunities to tamper with the materials of the election?

We are just asking questions o! We invite the out of state Governor and his team to come out of hiding and accept the petition papers.

The business of governance in Osun state cannot be run from Lagos. Please o! We need to take over and run our state with the people of the state, not from Lagos!

The saga continues

#HNNEducation How Senator @Iyiosun #Omisore predicted a COLOSSAL FAILURE in Osun

May the BEST candidate win Right? The best candidate doesn't always win. I told you during Senator Iyiola Omisore's campaign that his education plans for Osun youth was the BEST. WAEC scores were bad as it is all over Nigeria but look where Osun is rated? Below is Omisore's post on Facebook on what he calls a "collosal failure" and we spotted some other Nigerian student's individual results online. The nation failure was a 73% rate overall.

Educational Outcome in Osun state: Another year of colossal failure!
Regrettably for another year, the outcome of the investment in education in Osun state has come to nought. Although the results are pitiable all round, it is more so for us in Osun state. No other state in Nigeria has experienced such reversal in the fortunes and outcome of education in the face of high level of investment as Osun state has done. Placing 22nd among the league of states, only 19% of Osun state students scored 5 credits and above including English and Mathematics

It is no secret that these students can neither read nor write. More than a fair proportion of the 19% that have recorded success are from higher social class homes and private schools, where parents can afford the additional costs of after school lessons and private teaching. It is an open secret that many cannot afford the high cost of public education including the replacement of school uniforms, cost of desks and monthly payment for security in schools. Increasingly, children and young people in Osun state are out of school as parents groan under the siege the Aregbesola-led educational system has placed the future of the state.

This untenable situation is more alarming, given that the Aregbesola administration has spent over NGN 8billion naira on Opon Imo, in a highly flawed and profit driven application of technology for profit rather than for learning. Osun state indigenes have started to bear the long term burden of mismanagement of its educational system.

This must stop. The Rescue Mission has submitted that education is the wisest investment we can make. It is the asset that we give to our children today, that will not only build them individually, but shall also secure our own development and future. It is the wisest investment a government can make.

The dignity of education MUST be restored. Quality and quantity must work hand in hand to ensure that this disheartening trend is reversed. Reversing the educational initiatives and programmes of this reckless and irresponsible administration is certainly the way to progress. Propaganda based achievements can only result in poor performance that we now record year on year.

We shall do all possible to restore the confidence in the Osun state educational system. We shall be successful at the Tribunal. The Rescue Mission will protect our young people and parents from this sustained abuse

THE RESTORATION OF THE DIGNITY OF EDUCATION IN OSUN STATE MUST BE A PRIORITY FOR ALL!

#BREAKING #OsunDecides Senator @Iyiosun Omisore heads to Election Tribunal to challenge Election Irregularities.

Senator Iyiola Omisore who @HNNAfrica endorsed as the candidate to win the Osun elections heads to the election tribunal 8/27/14. Clearly there was some aspect of high tech fraud in the process of collating those votes. This is my personal opinion. Look at the REC removed the day before or the INEC official who stole my personal information incident  just last Saturday, called me and entered my Facebook thread writing vicious posts because I refused to buy him LUNCH?? INEC has to begin revamping it's ways and scrutinize who they hire. There were definitely irregularities in the Osun elections and we do NOT need that in the Federal election come 2015. Below is Omisore's post today on his Facebook page.
""The Rescue Mission Continues as a Social Movement and a Clarion Call for accountable democratic governance in Osun state as Omisore and Osun PDP submit petition to the Tribunal in Osogbo
Today at 10.00am in Osogbo, we shall submit our petition to the election tribunal. We invite our many supporters to join Senator Iyiola Omisore and Hon. Rafiu Adejare Bello as they, and other leaders, supporters and citizens of Osun state join them to demand a restoration of our votes and the mandate freely given to the PDP in Osun state.
This is a democratic right that they exercise on behalf every ciitizen in Osun state.
While the Rescue Mission Campaign worked tirelessly on the principle of 'One man, One Vote' others sought to compromise the real voice of the people in undemocratic ways.
Our Rescue Mission has committed boldly to 'Prosperity and Development that LEAVE NO ONE BEHIND'. Over the past year, we have worked with you all, and heard the widespread voices that have rejected deceit and propaganda as a strategy for governance. We collectively rejected photographs as a means of self touted achievements. We visited ward to ward, village to village and collectively saw the reality of collapsed schools. absent health care facilities, and a people largely denied economic opportunities by an imported government we did not vote for.
We again commit to protect your voices and your real votes. To ensure that sophisticated scientific rigging is not entrenched in our state, and indeed in Nigeria. To eliminate threats and violence in our electoral process but most importantly to protect our tomorrow.

The Rescue Mission continues as a social movement for change. It is no longer a campaign. It is a social movement and a clarion call to protect our democracy and support accountable governance in Osun state, and thereafter state to state, until the voice of every one is a part of the democratic people's government that we seek.
Once again, I thank you all for the support and commitment. I am humbled by the courage that have been displayed by our teaming supporters. By the discipline and respect for the rule of law and orderliness that we have conducted ourselves with, even in the face of aggression and unimaginable violence, especially post
elections. We have spent a lot of time working with security forces to protect you or assist you to seek redress for the onslaught by APC thugs and its state boys. Violence will not silence our voices or dim our determination.
I also thank the Almighty God that working with DSS and other security agents we were able to reduce this. We shall continue to do so as we take forward our case through the tribunal. I thank you all for your diligence and courage in ways words cannot define. By His grace, victory will be ours and our mandate will be restored""
Ni ipinle OSUN, eniyan IYI ni wa!

Nafiu Oladokun At least he is not a murderer and all what he has done so far in term of performance has demonstrated that he is intelligent and visionary. If an omo ita can have such qualities, it is better for all Nigerian to be omo ita. Because such omo ita will definitely bring development and progress for us .
