#HNNTerror UPDATE: Bomb blast in #Nigerian school assembly kills 48 children and several need AMPUTATIONS and #BLOOD

Boko Haram may be getting a lot of facetime with AFP and AP handed videos with no time stamp and dates. Now they are suspect in this morning's school explosion at assembly. At least 48 school students have been killed in Nigeria after a suicide bomber apparently dressed in school uniform detonated explosives in a packed assembly meeting.

Around 2,000 students - some as young as 11 - were waiting to hear the principal's Monday morning address when the blast ripped through the crowd. Eyewitnesses spoke of horrific scenes as body parts were scattered all over the school compound. The mood then turned to anger, with soldiers who turned up to secure the area pelted with rocks by locals, who accused them of failing to protect the area against terrorist attack.

The bombing took place at the Government Technical Science College in the city of Potiskum, a town of 200,000 in north-east Nigeria's Yobe state and a regular target of attacks by the Boko Haram Islamist group. Only last week, a suicide bomb in the same city killed 30 people taking part in a religious procession of moderate Muslims.


Musa Ibrahim Yahaya, survivor of the school bombing, spoke to the AP news agency from his hospital bed, where he was being treated for head wounds. "We were waiting for the principal to address us, around 7:30 a.m., when we heard a deafening sound and I was blown off my feet," he said. "People started screaming and running, I saw blood all over my body."


Aliyu Abubakar, a Potiskum resident, said he heard the explosion when he was dropping off his two sons at a nearby Islamic college. "One of my sons fell down, I came out dragged him in and we drove off back home," he said.

While closing the coordinating conference between Nigeria and Cameroon on trans-border military operations, the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh informed the delegates that without any prejudice to the outcome of the three days interactions and the conclusions of the forum, a cease fire agreement had been concluded between the Federal Government of Nigeria and Ahlul Sunna Li Daawa Wal Jihad. Accordingly, he directed the Service Chiefs to ensure immediate compliance with this development in the field. At the meeting was the Cameroonian Chief of Defence Staff, GCA Meka Rene Claude leading his country’s military delegation. Service Chiefs and senior military officers also attended the event.

#BokoHaram and the Feds have a ceasefire deal to return the #ChibokGirls IRONICALLY a day after the big rally in #Abuja. The release will be finalized in neighboring Chad next week. Do u still believe any girls were ever missing? Girls were taken but were they abducted??

NTA News broke the news that about sixty girls between the ages of 3-12 years have been abducted by insurgents in Kummabza village of Damboa local government area of Borno State. Reports from the area indicates that the insurgents also killed about thirty people and destroyed property worth millions of naira during an attack on the community, residents of the village are taking refuge in Lassa and Gulak in Adamawa State. They appealed to the authorities to provide them with shelter and relief materials to reduce their sufferings.

Days after a twin bomb attack on Tuesday, another bomb has rocked the city of Jos, Nigeria at about 9.30pm tonight. It happened as a failed suicide bomber tried to drive a car bomb into a crowded football viewing centre where soccer fans were watching the Madrid vs Madrid Champion League Game according to a Nigerian Police Spokesperson.

#HNNAfrica was the only one to tell you that there is a terror alert denoting terror chatter of explosions in Lagos area or as a matter of fact any city in Nigeria in the next 72 hours this weekend putting people on high alert. We do not have a casualty count yet as only the suicide bomber may have been killed as he did not make it to the viewing center said to be in a muslim dominated area and therefore was a botched attack.

The insurgency in Nigeria is not even funny. The Nigerian government is spending N2 Billion Naira (almost $13 Million) daily to fight terror. Many people have DIED!
