Mary J. Blige punched husband Kendu Isaacs in the face at her record release party at club M2 Tuesday night. The singer slugged Isaacs, drawing blood, after she thought he was flirting with a waitress. "She turned to him and was screaming, 'You're not going to ruin my night,' " our witness says. "They got up in each other's faces before someone tried to separate them, at which point she shoved the guy aside, pulled back and popped [Isaacs] in the face."

"She was yelling at him, 'What are you gonna do, Chris Brown me?' Four of her bodyguards and two of the club's kept them apart." Isaacs was kicked out. Blige went to the bathroom to fix her hair and makeup, but soon fled, creating an uncomfortable scene for partygoers Jay-Z, Beyoncé and Busta Rhymes. Her rep said only.

Some of you may not have been born when she herself was allegedly a domestic abuse victim in the hands of Jodeci member K-Ci. MJB did not talk on the Rihanna incident but look at Rihanna's body language in her videos, outfits strapped with bullets and gun tatoos. Abused women send messages out there.

I guess MJB will not stand for the Tigerish thing but at the same time isn't this what Rihanna did first that caused Mechanical Dummy to slug her? MARY J BLIGE CAUGHT UP IN AN ACCIDENT LAWSUIT.

Soul singer Mary J. Blige is embroiled in a lawsuit over a 2008 car crash, after one of her associates was allegedly involved in a traffic accident in New York City. Songwriter LaNeah Menzies, who worked with Blige on her track I Can See in Color, was driving a luxury Bentley owned by the singer's Mary Jane Productions company when it collided with a Honda in Manhattan on 9 December 2008. Passenger William Herrera, who was travelling in the Honda, has filed suit over the crash and he's named both Blige's company and Menzies as defendants.

The lawsuit, filed at Queens Supreme Court on Wednesday (09Dec09), does not detail the severity of Herrera's injuries following the incident. Menzies, who is signed to Blige's Universal Music Group imprint Matriarch, also co-wrote Kanye West's hit track Love Lockdown.
