NICK CANNON NOT PLANNING TO DISS EMINEM IN COMEDY SKIT.

Entertainer NICK CANNON is playing down press reports about his renewed war of words with EMINEM, insisting he's not poking fun at the rapper in his upcoming TV comedy special - but the fuss over their feud. New dad Cannon took aim at his rap rival in 2009 when he accused the superstar of disrespecting his wife Mariah Carey in the lyrics of Relapse album track Bagpipes From Baghdad. In the tune, Eminem opens up about an alleged romance with Carey, rapping, "Mariah whatever happened to us/Why did we ever have to break-up?" But when he turned on Cannon in the song, urging him to "back the f**k up," adding, "I'm not playing, I want her back, you punk...." and "I wish you luck with that whore", the entertainer decided it was time to fight back.

In a post on his blog, Cannon wrote, "(Eminem is) still obsessed with my wife, the same female that wouldn't let him get to second base from eight years ago." Cannon called Eminem "Slim Lamey" and offered him a challenge, writing, "Man to man, let's meet up and deal with this like adults... This is my invitation to you, whenever and wherever you like, sir. So when you come out of your introverted hiding place and ask your bodyguards if you can go out and play by yourself, I'm here Pimp!" And he further teased Eminem by stating, "Your legacy has now been tainted from this day forth! You will now be known as the rapper who lost to corny-a** Nick Cannon!"

The angry post was later removed, but sources at U.S. cable network Showtime recently revealed the comedian would take aim at Eminem again in his special, which debuts in America on Saturday (14May11). He insists that's not the case, stating, "I'm not taking him on. When you watch it (the special), you see what it is. It's really me talking about how silly the entire thing was. "I kinda come from... the character of my grandfather... and how he felt about me 'beefing' in hip-hop... It wasn't really a real beef. "He's (grandfather) kind of an old-school gangster, so (he'd) talk about how he would have handled it."

NICK CANNON DENYING MIMI IS PREGGO WITH TWINS.

MARIAH CAREY's husband NICK CANNON has laughed off rumours his wife is pregnant with twins - insisting the singer simply made a slip-up in a recent interview. The pop superstar announced earlier this year (10) she is expecting her first child with the rapper/actor in the spring (11). Reports suggesting Carey is expecting a double bundle of joy later emerged after the Hero hitmaker referred to her baby as "they". But Cannon has now explained the slip, insisting Carey was just being careful not to mention the baby's sex -because neither of them knows what gender it is.

He tells Access Hollywood, "That (twins) rumour came from an interview Mariah did where she was talking about her Christmas album and how she's been singing so much, and she referred to her stomach as 'they'. She said, 'I hope they don't hate Christmas.' From there we heard all of these twin rumours... But we want to be surprised (about the sex of the baby). We were told that it's going be one of the biggest surprises of your lifetime to see what the sex of the baby is, so, we're trying to wait. But you never know."

When Mariah Carey pulled out of Tyler Perry's latest film, it only increased speculation that the pop diva is pregnant. But her husband, America's Got Talent host Nick Cannon, dropped by E! studios Thursday night to clear the air.

"I do want to make a big announcement right here on Daily 10," he told a reporter. "My Jack Russell terrier puppy Cha Cha is pregnant again!"

Though it remains to be seen whether or not the couple's dog is really expecting, Carey dropped by Barbara Walters's SIRIUS XM Radio talk show last year and said she hoped to become a mom – to some four-legged furballs. "I want [my dogs] to have puppies," she said of Cha Cha and her other pup, JJ. "They're going to be very cute!"

MIMI PUTS OUT A FIRE DURING SHOW IN EGYPT!

MARIAH CAREY turned firewoman again prior to taking to the stage at a show in Egypt on Monday (17May10). The singer took to her Twitter.com account to tell fans about the electrical fire that broke out under her feet as she was waiting to take the stage at a concert. She tweeted, "In Egypt getting ready to go on stage and suddenly there was a surge of power and an electrical fire started under my feet! "Naturally, my emergency instincts kicked in and I put out the flames w /a towel." Carey has become quite the fire stopper of late - last year (09) she put out a blaze at the home she shares with husband Nick Cannon.

The singer was celebrating St. Valentine's Day with her man when a fire broke out in their master bedroom. Carey recalls, "He (Nick) had given me an enormous amount of roses, so I picked up the vase and poured out the roses, and went back and forth from the bathroom putting out the flames with water... I'm good in a crisis .."

MIMI AND NICK TIE THE KNOT FOR THE THIRD TIME!!

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's wedding was so nice, they did it thrice. The stars celebrated their second anniversary with their third wedding, hosting a bash at their Hollywood Hills home on Friday night. I got an invite to this but was in Toronto for the Jarvis St Remy weekend.

The lovebirds were snapped kissing and dancing in front of their guests, with Nick looking dapper in an all-white suit and Mariah in a sparkling wedding dress.

"This is my third wedding, so it's gonna be fun," Nick told AccessHollywood.com's Laura Saltman last month of the then-upcoming event. "I'm just showing up with gifts and smiles."

The top album of the decade came from an act that's not even around anymore — 'N Sync.

Billboard magazine says the boy band led by Justin Timberlake had the decade's best-selling album with "No Strings Attached," which sold more than 10 million copies.

The most popular song of the decade was Mariah Carey's ballad "We Belong Together."

Eminem was named the top artist of the decade, while Nickelback was named top group.

For 2009, Taylor Swift had the best-selling album with "Fearless," while the Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" was top song.

Billboard released those chart-toppers plus others for the decade and 2009 on its Web site on Friday.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's romantic 2009 St. Valentine's Day (14Feb) plans almost ended in disaster when a fire broke out at their home. The singer reveals the couple had just settled down for an evening alone when a fire broke out in their master bedroom.

Mariah Carey's New Year's resolution is to start a family with husband Nick Cannon the superstar singer has hinted they will clear their hectic schedules in 2010 to have children.

The Hero hitmaker married rapper/actor Cannon in the Bahamas last year (08) after a whirlwind romance and she admits they've been making family plans. But Carey insists they're holding off on having kids until at least the New Year (10) when work commitments and Christmas celebrations are out of the way - because she wants her children to have their parents' full attention.

She tells U.K. talk show This Morning, "We've definitely discussed it (having kids). The only thing is that at this particular moment, it's almost Christmas. He's doing his work and I'm promoting and doing all this stuff. Right now is not the moment. My parents were divorced and it's not like, 'Oh, woe is me!' A lot of people's parents are divorced but I would just like to have a nice, normal life for that moment."

So many artists just exist for their careers and then burn out quickly. "I always thought that I wouldn't be here at this point. I was thinking, 'OK, I've got another year of my life left. This has got to be the end of it.'" Meeting and marrying rapper/actor Nick Cannon made Carey stop thinking so negatively.

This Shyt is getting worse by the second! The ongoing back-and-forth pitting Eminem against Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon — which began with Em's "Bagpipes From Baghdad" and continued with Carey's "Obsessed" and then Em's "The Warning" — took an unusual turn over the weekend, as Cannon produced a series of quotes, original statements and Biblical tweets (concluding with one actually from the Bible) that, while not naming Eminem or "The Warning" directly, did seem to address the MC's latest attack on his wife.
