TONI BRAXTON: 'DON'T TAKE IT EASY WITH ME!'

Soul singer TONI BRAXTON has told her DANCING WITH THE STARS partner not to treat her like an invalid as he plans energetic routines for the recovering star. Braxton, who suffers from heart condition pericarditis, had to cancel a revue in Las Vegas at the beginning of the summer (08) after falling ill - but she insists she's well enough to compete on the TV dance-off. And she's told professional dancer Alec Mazzo not to treat her any differently to his fit and healthy partners. Mazzo, who won the first season of the dance show with soap star Kelly Monaco, says, "She told me herself, 'Give me the competitive choreography you can; I'm gonna deal with it.'"

This is the worst move since this dress in the 90's! She will fall down on that dance floor and collapse. I am not wishing her this but her doctors are foolish and so are the show's producers!

JANET JACKSON TO STAR IN MTV REALITY SERIES.

R&B singer JANET JACKSON is set to star in an upcoming reality TV series for MTV. The project will follow Jackson as she mentors a group of aspiring singers and dancers in search of the next pop superstar through unconventional means. Executive producer Dave Broome says of the series, "It's really about finding who's the next Janet Jackson or Justin Timberlake or Usher. And we'll find it from a pool of people who you wouldn't typically find it from. We'll go to YMCAs, church groups, local community centres and try to cast the show."

The winner of the series will receive a prize yet to be determined, although producers are entertaining the idea of relating it to Jackson's upcoming world tour - which kicks off on 10 September (08). Jackson's show signals a turnaround from her turbulent relationship with the network. She was rumoured to be blacklisted by the station after her infamous wardrobe malfunction during a performance with Justin Timberlake at the 2004 Superbowl halftime show the network produced.

Rapper T.I being TURNED AWAY at some ATLANTA SCHOOLS!

T.I has a ton of fans here in Canada. As you know, he was here with us in Toronto last summer to promote T.I versus TIP. This is a story that truly perplexes me! I used to go to schools Wednesdays, my day off to talk as a volunteer to students in Baltimore County and City in my 15 years in B-More. In fact I received so many awards that I was chosen as Maryland's Most beautiful Person in 1997 for Baltimore County. I went as a Pharmacist and preached about drugs, hip-hop and gang culture. My 1997 kids in 11th and 12th grade are all married, graduated from college and even have kids or single parents whatever, they have fared well. I did it for 5 years because I loved doing it. This is how I got involved with BET's Teen Summit and V103FM Baltimore's Teen Talk show "Pause For The Cause" with Lorenzo "Ice Tea" Thomas now at WEDR in Miami.

In fact some of you kids out there know that I just visited your schools in Toronto recently to talk about Hip-Hop 101, the myths and facts. C.W Jeffries Collegiate High students gave me my first Canadian award for serving their school. Remember I wasn't gonna accept it. It is our civic duty to get involved with our young men and women! CWJ is the school that Canada's first school shooting victim claimed----R.I.P Jordan Manners!

Now comes word that some schools in Atlanta don't want Rapper T.I anywhere near their schools despite the fact that the Feds have given him 1000 hours of community service to tell youth about the dangers of guns and drugs! If that is what it takes to rehabilitate T.I, then GIVE HIM THE CHANCE! Are they now going to ignore a Federal Judge's request? What is wrong with the system? Some School administrators who I have always worked with have now let so many of us MENTORS DOWN!

Kids, you have to draw a petition to allow a Rapper who wants to mentor you on avoiding his BAD experiences to come in!. This petition should be targeted towards the school board. This is the problem in America! The EDUCATORS think they know it all. I am speaking from the experience of an AWARD WINNING MENTOR!
