My colleague in the music biz and dynamic VJ Sarah Taylor was the one to talk to this group yesterday. Jay and Wale spoke about the trends in the music biz and Pharrell and Shea spoke also on the future of N.E.R.D and things are looking good for all parties. Smart artists! WTH? Is that Chad Hugo in his drag Halloween duds or Sarah made a quick change? LOL! Much will have the video up on Monday and you will see the link here.

VJ Sarah Taylor sits down with three generations of hip-hop royalty, talking about everything from music to fashion and how it feels to be the hottest rappers around.
N.E.R.D
World-famous producers and songwriters Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo, over the course of their decade-long career, have changed the course of music. It started with the redefining of hip-hop, the two of them wielding a minimalist, synthesized palette and a limitless imagination to create a sound that was as sophisticated and elegant as it was raw and rhythmic. Since then, Pharrell has gone on to a successful solo career, collaborating with some of the biggest artists including Jay-Z, Madonna, Justin Timberlake, Brittney Spears, Snoop Dogg, Gwen Stefani and Busta Rhymes. N.E.R.D's latest studio album Seeing Sounds produced such hit singles as "Everyone Nose (All The Girls Standing In The Line For The Bathroom)" and "Spaz."
WALE
American hip-hop artist Wale first made his mark in 2006, with his song "Dig Dug (Shake It)." Featured as the house band for the 2009 MTV VIDEO MUSIC AWARDS, Wale releases his first full length album, Attention: Deficit, November 10. The album features collaborations with Lady Gaga, Jazmine Sullivan, Gucci Mane, Bun B, Marsha Ambrosious and Pharrell. Thanks a million to Ashley Applebaum, one of our dynamic media contacts at MuchMTV Group Now if you haven't seen who pronounces "HipHossip" the BEST, It is WALE!! Watch the whole video.
My friend Producer Pharrell Williams underwent painful laser treatments to remove tattoos from both his arms, neck and upper torso recently. This procedure is painful but may as well do it now or never.
