It was a day I would never forget in the music industry beef days. The African fans would never meet him, the case still not solved. So many areas of conspiracy involving police, the TuPac connection. All I can say is to Biggie's children, his wife Faith Evans and Ms Voletta, keep your head up and stay strong! One of the most high profile and notorious murders in the music business remains that of Christopher Wallace aka Notorious BIG. I was at the Soul Train After party during the early hours of March 9th 1997 when shots rang out and people ran in different directions. It was the car carrying Diddy!! I was stunned to see these huge bullets pierce the larger than life rapper and slump him down at the prime of his life. Biggie was gone by the time they got to the hospital. There was no Twitter, Facebook, just MySpace which was the only social media then. I had 100,000 friends. There was no HipHossip but I was just a music fan who loved reporting music and just graduated broadcasting school though my beat was health. We only had radio and CNN. It happened in the middle of the night. Clubgoers picked the news up in their car radios and broke down.This changed everything for me. Biggie left behind a small family including his wife singer Faith Evans, their son Chris Junior and his daughter from a previous relationship Tyanna.

Since Biggie's murder there has been several rappers shot and killed. The violence in hip-hop has become beyond anything I could Imagine. Lets drop the guns, stop the violence and get ready to be part of the HipHossip Music Foundation, using music to END GUN VIOLENCE! Ironically his second album, tentatively named "Life After Death... 'Til Death Do Us Part", later shortened to Life After Death was named after a car accident Wallace was involved in that shattered his left leg and temporarily confined him to a wheelchair forcing him to use that fashionable cane, something many of his fans didn't even realize. If you are turning Sweet 16 this year and you are a hip-hop fan, Know what happened 16 years ago today. His song with the chorus, "I'm going to Cali Cali" haunts me to this date. Born in Brooklyn, DIED in Cali!

Last week, on February 21, Oakland, California Rap hopeful Kenny Clutch (born Kenneth Cherry, Jr.) was murdered in a drive-by shooting on the Las Vegas strip. Two others—a taxi-driver Michael Bolden and passenger Sandra-Sutton Wasmund were killed in an ensuing car collision and explosion. A passenger in Clutch's Maserati and four others have now been injured in the accident. Authorities have now named their first suspect in 26 year-old Ammar Harris (a/k/a Ammar Asim Faruq Harris).

According to CBS News, police found his black Range Rover at a nearby apartment complex following the shooting. After a SWAT search, he was not found on the premises. The car was witnessed both at an altercation at the Aria Hotel valet parking station, and moments later, alongside Kenny Clutch's car during the shooting. Harris' whereabouts are unknown, though Las Vegas Police Captain Chris Jones believes he is armed and dangerous.

Harris has multiple arrests in the past, for drug, pandering and weapons charges, among others. He has claimed residences in South Carolina and Georgia. Authorities in California, Arizona and Utah are reportedly cooperating in a search. Police photographs of Harris (pictured) show him with a tattoo of what appears to be an owl on his neck.

Following the last week's tragic events, police investigation has revealed that Kenny Clutch had no criminal record at the time of his murder.

UPDATE: A story published yesterday (February 25) in The Las Vegas Review Journal and brought to the attention of HipHopDX indicates that not only did Kenny Clutch have an arrest record, he may have been working as a pimp at the time of his murder.

Clutch had a 2007 gun charge in California, which included reports of beating an ex-girlfriend and mother of one of Clutch's children. Additionally, a signed 2011 affidavit by another girlfriend alleged that Clutch broke down a door, beat her, kicked her, and forcibly removed her from the couple's apartment at the time. At the time of his death, Clutch's girlfriend, Asmayit "May" Hagos, was wanted by bench warrant for violating probation. Hagos had been previously arrested for soliciting prostitution and grand larceny.

The LVRJ article also alleges that the prime suspect, Ammar Harris, was Clutch's former "late-night running-mate," making this murder related to a falling out between two pimps. The full report is at The Las Vegas Review Journal.

Reuters reports that Ammar Harris, Clutch's former associate, was arrested after surrendering at an apartment in the North Hollywood section of Los Angeles. He was surrounded by both L.A. police and an FBI task force.

"Officers and detectives converged on that area, he was challenged to come out of that area and he did peacefully," said Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Lieutenant Ray Steiber. "He was taken into custody."

Harris us currently being held without bail pending an extradition hearing scheduled for Monday morning. HipHopDX will keep you updated as more information comes to light.

Police say Harris shot several rounds at the Maserati which Cherry was driving. He is described as 5-foot-11 weighs roughly 180 pounds, and has a rap sheet which includes kidnapping, pandering, s-xual assault, and was previously arrested on allegations of being a pimp.

The second victim, has been identified as 62-year-old cab driver, Michael Bolden. According to his sister Carolyn Jean Trimble, Bolden loved his job. "He came to live with me in Las Vegas last year to help take care of our mother, and the first day he got here he said, 'I have to get a job.' The second day, I came home from work, and he said he got a job," Trimble told ABC News. "He says, 'You'll never guess what it is,' and I said, 'what,' and he said, 'taxi cab driver,' and we both fell out laughing," Trimble said. "He loved that job. He never complained. He'd come home and tell me stories about what happened, who he picked up."
Bolden was a single father who raised a son, now 36. He also had one grandchild, who is named after him. "Of all the people to take from this earth, but I guess the Lord needed him, " Trimble added.

Sandi Sutton-Wuton, 48, was the passenger in Bolden's car, and the third casualty. Sutton-Wuton was a two-time breast cancer survivor, and owner of clothing store. The 48-year-old was in town for a trade show, with her business partner.Truly SAD---#MsKemi @HipHossip on twitter

Nigerian global pop singer D'banj has joined another celebs in airing out his opinions about the Aluu killings of four college students by the villagers. I met him at the ThisDay music festival some years back and knew he is always sincere. He shares my sentiments of seeking JUSTICE.

Five days ago, I woke up to yet another unspeakable tragedy.
Four young men, all undergraduates, brimming with great dreams, unfulfilled aspirations and a promising future were killed.

To express the depth of my pain and shock at their murder is impossible. And understanding how events could have degenerated to this level is truthfully beyond me.

I mourn deeply with the families of these young men because this is OUR collective loss. They were our colleagues, our classmates, our neighbors, our brothers... our friends.

This story has gripped Nigeria so hard that when it happened on Friday the 5th of October 2012. YouTube was inundated with hits. They were beaten up with clubs so badly, one of them had his brain exposed off his skull, all this being videotaped while children and an entire village was watching. They were bloodied and then set on fire like animals and finally MURDERED! Yes, I am going all over Nigeria to educate entire villages that allowed this to happen and not stop it.

The sickness of Nigeria has become a true illness where wealth and fear of losing it has gripped some and people have taken the law into their own hands. What can we say? The video is EXTREMELY GRAPHIC!!  DISCRETION IS ADVISED!! I had an office full of employees run out crying and traumatized today. Look at the pictures!!

These young men were working on an album. They were aspiring rappers while studying in school.  They were accused of allegedly steaking blackberry phones and laptops, two of Nigeria's prized possesions. I thought I was dealing with just an anti-volence issue, but little did I know that a track called  "Aint no love in the heart of the city",  was produced by two of these guys. OMG and they were so talented.

Parts of that song says "aint no love in this part of town." Sadly, the lyrics they sang were haunting as it became reality. Other lyrics include "growing up in PH city where wrong is made to look right." I get shivers everytime I hear the song.

SMH as the town took the law into their own hands. We live in a violent country where people flee all the time and countries like Canada actually think we are lying or filing bogus refugee claims and give every excuse not to help us. I'm sure these young men if they had the opportunity to flee, many of these foreign countries will never give them refuge like when I fled from violence that hurt and killed my fellow Journalists in a country I had not lived in 30 years.  Now you have seen this with your own eyes.

Where are the cops? We don't have the same kind of law enforcement here. Three of deceased persons confirmed to be students of the university were Biringa Lordson, a year two Theatre Arts student; Ugonna Obuzor, a year two Geology student and Mike Toku, a year two Civil Engineering student. The fourth person killed alongside the other three was Tekena Erikena,  the vice chancellor of the university added that efforts were still on to confirm if he was a student of the university. Tekena reminds me so much of Usher's younger brother J Lack with glasses.

The Vice Chancellor said though the university had declared seven days mourning period for the deceased students. Arrests of 13 people were made today including a village chief aka leader. I launched a twitter campaign today #StopViolenceNigeria which will let Nigerians communicate about violence.

If the entire village was living under the mercy of armed robbers and home invasions, law enforcement should be there. At the same time, this is a wake up call for the Nigerian police. They need to step up their game and the community needs to work together with them. One of the fathers of these young men is a senior oil worker in the oil rich city and told media he could buy any kind of laptop or phone for his son. Another father, that of Tekena said that his son was "so badly damaged that they had to bury him in the forest in an unmarked grave."

Chief Keef, a talented teen rapper linked to some bad Southside Chicago gangs is being investigated by Chicago Police after tweets making fun of JoJo's murder"and some Lupe Fiasco references. He has a MAJOR record and distribution deal with Interscope. A reliable source at that label tells me "his days are numbered at that label. ""He does not give the label a good image after this murder"" my source says.

""The axe may be coming down soon on his career because of this murder"" say many industry pals. This same shyt has been going on in Rap music for ever. Didn't TuPac rap that he focked Biggie's wife Faith Evans, then he got shot'and lived? How about my former city of Toronto where the rap verses flow between the Mount Olive and Jamestown Crips? The Canadian gangs are more like wanna bees and mostly dumb. They never get record deals.

Gangsta rappers evolved during the NWA era and most of what I saw then was good rap verses aimed at society's ills against the black community and not a rival rapper as they do today. OMG, I can't even watch the vids anymore. Twitter has now made it worse when gangs in Toronto's Scarborough Galloway area tweeted how they were coming uninvited to a party where 25 were shot leaving two dead on July 16th 2012. By tweeting a location tells people where you are, something Lil JoJo did the nite he was gunned down.

So what's Interscope saying publicly? The label's silent. Afterall they sign all the gangsta rappers.'People don't care for the genre anymore. Líl Reese is part of the problem, another rapping kid in Chi town signed to Keef's Glory Boys Entertainment. To top it off 50 Cent tweeted that Keef should come see him. I wrote 50 to stay out of it. These kids are dying!!!! EVERYWHERE!

OVER THE WEEKEND, KEEF POSTED A PIC OF HIM AND A GROUPIE ENGAGED IN ORAL SEX WHERE THE GIRL WAS GIVING HIM A BLOW JOB. HIS INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT GOT CANCELED! WHAT AN EMBARRASSMENT TO THE LABEL.

FOOLISHNESS ALL THE WAY: WHY WAS LÍL JOJO'S FUNERAL GANG THEMED???

Now I was really pissed off to hear all this!! What the HELL? Police helicopters hovered overhead and unmarked squad cars patrolled the streets, tensions erupted at the funeral of slain teen rapper Joseph “Lil JoJo” at a funeral parlor about 5 1/2 miles north of Saturday’s protest.

Chicago police had to clear the funeral home when mourners surged the casket, nearly tipping it over. Outside, some mourners smoked weed in the parking lot, and police ended up confiscating a loaded .45-caliber pistol.

Lil JoJo’s funeral on Friday wound south to Mount Hope Cemetery, and police got calls of shots fired from a car at 115th and Kedzie. There also were reports of someone waving a gun out of a car window.

Police closed down several blocks of 115th Street near Fairfield on Friday, and officers from Chicago, Cook County and Merrionette Park stopped cars outside the cemetery, searching people. A gang disturbance was reported at a gas station at 111th Street and Talman, where police found the loaded pistol.

THE MURDER OF CHICAGO'S ASPIRING RAPPER L'IL JO JO CONTINUES TO LEAVE A DENT IN THE RAP MUSIC INDUSTRY.

It's been a week now since the brutal murder of yet another aspiring rapper. We've seen L'il Phat shot to death 20 times, Slim Dunkin over a piece of candy, Poppa C shot dead outside Trae the Truth's concert and even Abdulle Elmi shot dead and thrown in the middle of a residential street at 4am in Toronto. Why does this keep happening in the industry? 

First I don't like the fact that L'il JoJo was involved in a beef, then a gang affiliated beef and then holding a Tech9 and a Glock does not make matters better. This is the kinda shyt going on in Toronto's Mount Olive and Jamestown  and the Galloway sections. Young street rappers with obvious talent start beefing over record deals, territory and more shyt! 

They use social media so heavily to promote their beef messages.I am almost 50 and I got two children that rap and a nephew, all talented. These are mere kids who are using YouTube and Twitter to fuel the fire. Are gang investigatiors looking into these

JoJo real name Joseph Coleman had been feuding with rival rappers Lil Reese, Lil Durk and Chief Keef as well as with the Black Disciple street gang for months before he was fatally shot at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday near Chicago's 69th and Princeton in the Englewood neighborhood. 

Then there's the whole Chief Keef tweet that read  “Its Sad Cuz Dat N---- Jojo Wanted To Be Jus Like Us #LMAO.”  

Police are now looking at those tweets.

Chief Keep now called out Lupe Fiasco who also grew up in the same hood. What a mess! OR should I say what a fiasco!! Now 50 Cent has tweeted to Keef to come see him. FOR WHAT?? OMG! These rappers need leashes today. 

Witnesses said Coleman, 18, was riding double on a bike standing on the back when a car pulled up and someone fired six or seven shots. Coleman ran but was hit in the back before making it to a nearby home, where he later died outside as people screamed “JoJo!” witnesses said. 

A witness said the shots came from an tan, older model, four-door Ford Taurus that was riding low in the back. After Coleman collapsed, people came to his aid. There was little blood, but Coleman’s eyes were dilated, cold and fixed. “It was the like the look of death,” another witness said. 

When asked if he could hear them, Coleman attempted to nod. Paramedics arrived about 10 minutes later, witnesses said, and Coleman was still breathing and gurgling. But he later died.

Minneapolis Rapper/Activist Free-One (Real Name Abdulle Elmi ) Gunned Down in Toronto.

The Toronto Star is reporting that years before Toronto's 26th homicide victim Abdulle Elmi aka rapper Free-One was gunned down in a quiet Etobicoke street, his family decided it would be safer for the University of Minnesota student to leave his troubled Minneapolis neighbourhood and move to Toronto with his grandmother.

Elmi, 25, died of multiple gunshot wounds to the torso Thursday morning. He was the cousin of Eaton Centre shooting victim Ahmad Hassan. Police have not linked Elmi’s death to the Eaton Centre attack.

In Minneapolis, Elmi was also known as “a revered poet” who performed in a hip-hop group called “The Usual Suspects,” said Luke Rusch, his best friend. “He was the first Somali in Minneapolis to make it to perform at the city’s largest venues as a rapper.” Friends know Elmi by his MC name, “Free-One” and his nickname “Black Wizard.”

“For people who knew him, this is very shocking,” said Rusch, who spoke with a tear-choked voice on the phone from Minneapolis on Saturday. “He was really against violence, always wanted to help people in a meaningful way.”

The eldest of four siblings, Elmi was born in Toronto but later moved to Minnesota with his family and lived in Cedar-Riverside, a neighbourhood known for gun violence.

The South High School graduate joined University of Minnesota at 17 to study political science before moving back to Toronto.

Franz Dahinpen, Elmi’s classmate in high school and university, said Elmi was “passionate about justice.” He attended anti-violence protests, rallied students against police brutality and volunteered at youth festivals, said Dahinpen.

Elmi was also a founding member of a Sustainable Progress through Engaging Active Citizens, a Minneapolis organization that encourages young people to improve their neighbourhoods. Lead organizer Chaka Mkali said Elmi “touched many lives” through his work.

On Saturday, January 21, 2012, at 5 a.m., police responded to a call at the Scarborough
General Hospital. It is reported that:
− two vehicles drove to Scarborough General Hospital, where a group of men and a woman
carried a man suffering from obvious gunshot wounds into the emergency department of the
hospital
− the group of people left the victim at the hospital then fled in both vehicles
− the victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the hospital
The victim has been identified as Anthony Spencer, 23, of Toronto.
Investigators are looking to identify the woman and men who brought the victim to the hospital
and the two vehicles used. One vehicle is described as a silver, four−door Nissan. The other vehicle is described as an older−model beige/gold four−door sedan.

Update Sun Jan 22nd 2012: Investigators have located both vehicles and interviewed the persons who brought the victim to the hospital. However, those witnesses have not provided much information. Police have also located a crime scene at 799 Brimley Road, a recording studio. A search warrant will be executed at this location. Police know there were other people at the scene of the shooting and are asking them to come forward and speak with investigators.

Here's the real sad part of all this story. Spencer whom I DID NOT know personally rapped about blunts, robberies, home invasions, jewelry, guns and his young daughter and I also heard this rapped in one of his videos 2:35-2:38 "I leave you dead you don't snitch nigga." The aspect of free speech must always exist in music but when do we draw the line in 2012. Times are changing. Music networks are avoiding any form of gangsta rap. Truly sad that his so called friends had to dump him in a hospital and leave. Police had to appeal for them to come forward!!



It's time his friends start snitching and helping police solve his MURDER. In a video he portrayed as a "Public Service announcement", he talked about "shooting" whoever uses his name. He also asked his nigga "Silence" another rapper in jail to be freed. His music had the online presence for the young gangsta rap fans on YouTube and Twitter. Sadly, we have seen too many of these murders before.



My thoughts and prayers go out to his family especially his daughter. This is NOT the life to live in the name of free speech. RAPPER YOUNG VITO SURRENDERS TO POLICE FOR ALLEGEDLY KILLING RAPPER SLIM DUNKIN.

A man charged with killing an Atlanta rapper at a recording studio has turned himself in to police. WSB-TV reports that Vinson Hardimon, known as rapper Young Vito, surrendered to Atlanta police Monday afternoon.

He was handcuffed and taken to the Fulton County jail. Police say the 28-year-old shot and killed 24-year-old Mario Hamilton, known as rapper Slim Dunkin, on Dec. 16 at an Atlanta recording studio. Detective David Quinn says police still need more information in the case. Quinn says Hardimon's attorney called police and said Hardimon wanted to surrender.

BREAKING UPDATE: RAPPER YOUNG VITO WANTED FOR ALLEGEDLY SHOOTING SLIM DUNKIN WHOSE ELABORATE FUNERAL IS FRIDAY 12/23/11

The AJC reports that the funeral for Slim Dunkin is 11 a.m. at Berean Christian Church in Stone Mountain. Burial will follow at Hillandale Memorial Gardens in Lithonia. Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements, said a wake was held Thursday at its chapel on Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard in Atlanta.The funeral home said two limos will deliver Slim Dunkin’s family to the church Friday.

According to TMZ, the funeral will be elaborate with a “white horse-drawn carriage, massive white floral arrangements, and a white dove release ceremony.” Waka Flocka Flame and Gucci Mane will pick up the lion’s share of the expenses, TMZ said, with Slim Dunkin’s family paying for the rest of the send-off.

Atlanta police on Thursday said they have identified a suspect in the slaying of rapper Slim Dunkin, and he was urged to turn himself in for his own safety.The suspect was identified as another local rapper, 28-year-old Young Vito, whose real name is Vinson Hardimon, according to a police release."We are urging Mr. Hardimon to turn himself in to authorities because we have reason to believe he may be in danger," the release said.Slim Dunkin, whose real name is Mario Hamilton, was killed Dec. 16 after being gunned down at a southeast Atlanta recording studio.

A Twitter posting earlier this year identified Young Vito as an "east Atlanta Zone 6 ... street legend turned rapper” who was about to “embark on capitalizing the rap, fashion, & movie industry.”Police are seeking the public’s help in finding Young Vito and said calls can be made to Atlanta Crimestoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or contact the Atlanta Police Department's homicide unit at 404-546-4235.

Atlanta police tell me the death of Bricksquad rapper, Slim Dunkin, started from a fight over candy sold inside the recording studio where the shooting took place. Homicide detective, David Quinn, gave WSB-TV's Crime reporter a detailed account of Mario “Slim Dunkin’” Hamilton’s killing on Friday evening (Dec. 16) in this video below. Above is his last tweet.

All I can say is that this is nuts. Slim Dunkin was like an NBA player and hence his name. At 6'8 it took his attacker a trip outside to go get a gun over an argument about CANDY!!

Slim Dunkin appeared on a number of songs with Waka like “F--k the Club Up,” “Bang” and “Karma” all from Flocka’s 2010 debut Flockavelli. He was also featured heavily on Waka’s mixtapes like Twin Towers, Twin Towers 2 (No Fly Zone) and LeBron Flocka Flame 3. Dunkin was on his solo grind as well. This past Halloween the street bred MC released Menace II Society, a 20-track mixtape which featured Gucci Mane, Roscoe Dash and Pastor Troy.

11.30pm UPDATE: The Atlanta Police have now spoken about this murder. “Now it’s my understanding prior to the video shoot, Mr. Hamilton became involved in a verbal altercation with another individual who we believe produced a handgun, discharged that weapon at least one time, striking Mr. Hamilton in the chest,” Atlanta police Maj. Keith Meadows told Channel 2, WSB-TV, Atlanta's ABC affiliate. They have not identified the individual and say there was at least 13-20 people in the building at 5.30pm when the shooting happened. This was certainly not the kind of shooting planned for tonight. It was a video shoot not with a GUN!

Four weeks ago yesterday, a jury returned its verdict against Melissa Lewis who admitted she fatally stabbed Jermaine Gillespie on May 29, 2010.The jury reached its decision after 13 hours of deliberations.The prosecution is appealing the decision, citing six legal errors by trial judge, Justice Robert Clark. It will ask the Court of Appeal to quash the acquittal and order a new trial for Lewis.

One of Jamaica's most popular deejays/rapper now has a second murder charge against him. Police say 35-year-old dancehall star Vybz Kartel was charged last week in the August slaying of a Jamaican man nicknamed "Lizard."Earlier this month, police accused the rapper of conspiring with others to kill a 27-year-old music promoter who was gunned down on a street corner.

Assistant Police Commissioner Ealan Powell tells the Jamaica Gleaner that Kartel is being investigated "in connection with a number of murders, shootings and gunrunning."Kartel's defense attorney could not be reached about the latest allegations on Tuesday.Kartel is known for sexually explicit and violent lyrics.

ANOTHER RAPPER GUNNED DOWN-M-BONE OF CALI SWAG DISTRICT WAS JUST IN T.O.

The Hip-Hop community suffered another blow with the untimely passing of Cali Swag District group member M-Bone who was shot and killed late last night in his Inglewood stomping grounds. This group was just in Toronto on Rap City on MuchMTV Canada about 2 weeks ago. It is such a shame that in these days when much rappers cannot cross the border into Canada, Cali Swag is on the right side of the law with no drug or gun charges hindering their Canadian entry and appearances. Once again, gunfire has silenced a member of the hip-hop community.

According to local police, no suspects have been apprehended as they continue to piece together clues in the senseless killing. A rep for Cali Swag released a statement to MTV News expressing the loss of the beloved group."Cali Swag District member Mante 'M-Bone' Talbert was the victim of a random act of violence last night, Sunday, May 15th in his hometown of Inglewood, CA. Word on his Facebook Memorial page talks about the whole thing about a "twitter beef" involving a young woman.

As police are still investigating the shooting and untimely death we ask that anyone with information contact the Inglewood Police Department. Mante, aged 22, was the comedic entertainer of Cali Swag District (who helped launch 'The Dougie' to mainstream audiences) and was an inspiration to his family, friends and fans. MONTREAL Rapper Paul Frappier, known as Bad News Brown, has been found dead. His body was discovered by a passerby in the southwestern part of Montreal by the Lachine Canal near abandoned buildings, police said.Police spokesman Oliver lapointe said there was evidence of violence at the scene."We do not know the motive and we have no witnesses," Lapointe said.Frappier's publicist issued a statement saying they were made aware of the artist, harmonica player and rapper's death Saturday morning."

Bad News Brown's death is a great loss for the entire hip-hop and music community in Quebec," Frappier's manager Henry Gelot said in the statement. "In addition to being one of the first rappers from Quebec to reach international acclaim, Bad News Brown has certainly left a mark on everyone who knew him."Friend Bodo Lunetz said he only had good things to say about Frappier."He was a guy with a big heart," Luentz said.He added Frappier didn't have any financial problems or known enemies.Originally from Haiti, Frappier lived with an adoptive family in Montreal until his teen years.

He played harmonica in the Metro stations before becoming a star. The bio on his Facebook page says he opened for Snoop Dogg, Kanye West, 50 Cent and Soulja Boy. He released his debut album, Born 2 Sin, last year. He is also in the latest movie from Canadian director Michel Jette called Bumrush, due out this year.Fans took to Frappier's fan page on Facebook to offer their condolences."You left a positive mark on this earth," one person wrote."Your sounds will flow for eternity," another wrote.Police said there are no suspects and the investigation continues.
