FLEETWOOD MAC PLAN TO REUNITE IN 2012...YAY!

Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks has confirmed the band will reunite next year (12).
The group last toured in 2009 and their most recent album, Say You Will, was released in 2003.
The singer and her bandmate Lindsey Buckingham are both busy working on solo material, but they plan to resurrect the band in 2012 once they wrap up their side-projects - and Nicks reveals they are considering recording a new album. She tells Perez Hilton, "When (my new) album and Lindsey's album come to a stop then Fleetwood Mac will gather again and we'll either make another record or we won't and we’ll just go on tour."

Hip-Hop Crunch is telling us that a source to The New York Daily News Tuesday: “While promoting Shrek Forever After, Eddie talked a lot about his kids. Ever since, he’s been making efforts with Mel to get to know their daughter….”

Eddie’s ex, Nicole Mitchell, has reportedly been instrumental in the family reunion of sorts.

“Eddie’s ex-wife Nicole helped them reconcile their issues, too. Angel is Eddie’s youngest child, and Nicole wanted her children to know her. That helped Eddie to come around and get past all the animosity he had toward Mel. All of the children were there for the party, and it appeared that they’re one big happy, blended family.”

The comedian reported invited Mel, Angel, and Mel’s husband Stephen Belafonte to a party at his Los Angeles compound last week.

FUGEES THINKING OF REUNITING FOR HAITI.

Rapper Pras is considering reuniting the Fugees for a special benefit concert to raise money for earthquake-devastated Haiti.

The star - who has Haitian roots - previously poured scorn on the chances of the Killing Me Softly hitmakers getting back together, insisting the group was "straight dead".

But he's hoping to convince ex-bandmates Wyclef Jean and Lauryn Hill to put aside their differences for the one-off show in aid of those affected by the massive tremor.

He says, "That's the only reason I would think about doing anything on that level."

Pras has also criticised the government officials in the poverty-stricken country for failing to take precautions before the disaster struck.

He tells Yo! Raps, "There's no communication down there. My mother told me this morning that she still has her mother's brothers and sister, who I've never met, who are still down in Haiti.

"This is definitely the worst and that's why the donations are cool, the relief aid is immediate short term, but the nation's government has to be held accountable for not using the hundreds of millions it has received in aid over the years to build up the poor infrastructure and crumbling hospitals to treat the many wounded and gravely injured."

EVEN WYCLEF SAYS THERE WILL BE NO FUGEES REUNION!

Wyclef Jean is adamant the Fugees will never reform - despite insisting bandmate Lauryn Hill is the most talented woman he has ever worked with.The hip-hop trio enjoyed success in the 1990s, winning critical acclaim and selling a huge 18 million copies of their album , The Score. The group, comprised of Jean, Hill and rapper Pras Michel, split in 1997, to the disappointment of its fans. And Jean, who went on to enjoy a hugely successful producing career, is happy for the band to remain a thing of the past - insisting a reunion would destroy the "myth" of the Fugees.

He says, "To me, they're (Fugees) great and they're gonna always be great. But the Fugees, it's better that it leaves the myth vibe. Like The Score is a myth. When you hear it, it's a myth. It was done in the basement. Like you don't wanna go from there to do a sequel and you've destroyed your complete myth."
But despite the fact he isn't aiming to team up with Hill again, the rapper still considers his former frontwoman one of the best in the business

He adds, "When I met Lauryn she was 14. Til today, I've worked with a whole lot of women in the studio... her talent surpasses talent. She's the best rapper, she's the best singer. It's all equal. It's not like she's gonna sing a song and when she rhymes she's gonna slack on it."

MICHAEL TO REUNITE WHAM! FOR LONDON CONCERTS?

Pop star GEORGE MICHAEL will reportedly team up with former WHAM! bandmate ANDREW RIDGELEY for two concerts in London next month (Aug08). The alleged reunion will be for the singer's retirement shows - dubbed The Final Two - and will be one of a "series of surprises". A source tells British newspaper The Sun, "He's keeping his cards close to his chest, but many are predicting that he'll reunite with Andrew to sing a track or two." Michael announced last month (Jun08) that the two concerts at Earls Court, London in August (08) will mark the end of his touring career.
