LOURDES NOW A TEENAGER!

Madonna threw a surprise party for her daughter Lourdes in New York this week to celebrate her first birthday as a teenager. The youngster turned 13 on Wednesday (14Oct09) and the pop superstar marked the landmark day by gathering family and friends for a lavish bash in Manhattan
Madonna, along with Lourdes' father Carlos Leon, booked out the Delicatessen restaurant in SoHo for the party, during which she presented her daughter with a red, velvet-look birthday cake, according to the New York Daily News.

Congrats to Lourdes the "little Star" I love that Madonna song. Did you see Lourdes recreate her mom's "like a virgin video?" with a wedding gown and all.

DISNEYLAND TO SHUT DOWN FOR CYRUS' 16TH BIRTHDAY.

Teen pop sensation MILEY CYRUS is to stage her sweet 16 birthday party at Disneyland in California. The Hannah Montana star will shut down the themepark for the day on 5 October (08) so she can party with friends, contest winners and fans who pay $250 to hang out with the singer/actress. Cyrus will also celebrate her big day with Youth Service America volunteers who have been singled out for their community work. The Disneyland event will be called Miley's Sweet 16 - Share the Celebration and tickets that go on sale on 30 August (08) are expected to sell fast.
