Mississauga – Peel Regional Police homicide detectives have charged a wanted suspect with First Degree Murder in the shooting death of Donald Richard GRANT.

On Sunday, November 7, 2010, at approximately 9:34 p.m., Peel Regional Police responded to a call on Ambler Drive in Mississauga for a victim who had been shot. Shortly after arriving, officers discoveredDonald Richard GRANT, a 27 year-old male from Toronto, suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to a local hospital where he later succumbed to his injuries.

A Canada-wide warrant for First Degree Murder was issued for the arrest of Jerome DERBY, a 21 year-old male from Toronto. With information provided by the public, and the assistance of the Hamilton Police Service, investigators were able to locate and arrest the suspect in Hamilton. On Tuesday, August 2, 2011, investigators arrested and charged Jerome DERBY, a 21 year-old man from Toronto, with First Degree Murder.

DERBY was held overnight for a Bail hearing and will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on August 3, 2011.

Jerome Derby was asked to turn himself in several times by myself and he ignored it. Now he was hiding in a remote area of Hamilton, Ontario and nabbed. Facebook fans are posting messages of joy all over Don's personal page. Above are the tweets that the some think may have to do with this investigation. Clearly Donald was telling someone he was not afraid of their gun. A tweet that caused Canada's TIME-like weekly magazine Macleans to do a tribute to him.

MTV reports that Justin Bieber was spotted in Miami over the weekend hanging out with his pal, former tourmate and "Eenie Meenie" collaborator Sean Kingston. MTV News caught up with the teen star Sunday when he landed back in Los Angeles to see what he and his pal were up to."I was just down in Miami," he told us for an interview set to air during"MTV First: Sean Kingston" on Tuesday night. "We were just hanging out at his house, kicking it, driving around Miami and whatnot.

During "MTV First: Sean Kingston," the chart-topping artist will talk about his recovery from the near-fatal accident, which occurred near his home in Miami, and his plans to get back in the recording studio. The special is set to air Tuesday at 7:57 p.m. ET on MTV, then continue for 30 minutes on MTV.com. DRAKE'S OVO FEST BRINGS OUT LEGENDARY STEVIE WONDER, L'IL WAYNE, NAS, J.COLE AND RICK ROSS.

Rolling Stone magazine reports: Last night's repeat visit topped even that: a surprise appearance by Stevie Wonder, who took over Drake's headlining set for a full half-hour with almost no accompaniment from his host, except some I-am-not-worthy-style bowing and a fun freestyle about "Stevie on the keys/I wonder who's next?" and "playing with a legend. There it is."

Throughout Drake's two-hour-plus show, there were other special guests: Nas, rising star J. Cole and Drake's label boss Lil Wayne of Young Money Entertainment, all of whom were previously unannounced, as well as OVO Fest's scheduled openers Rick Ross and Toronto R&B protégé the Weeknd (who performed live in concert for the first time last weekend).

Relaxnews tells us that Beyonce is looking for your wedding and prom videos. So you want to be in a Beyoncé video? On July 28, the pop star announced plans to create an alternative music video for her new single "Best Thing I Never Had," from her latest album, 4, using photos and video from fans.

The singer has asked fans to send in video footage or photos from their own weddings or prom experiences, which she will include in a new version of the video.

To take part, upload your clips to YouTube or photos to Flickr and tag them with #BeyonceBestThing before August 12.

Beyoncé will select her top picks to be included in the new video, which is scheduled to be unveiled in September.

Her fourth solo album, 4, released on June 27, has reached number one on album charts in nine countries, including the US and UK.

IS SOULJA BOY BUYING A $55 MILLION PRIVATE PLANE?

Reuter's Alex Dobuzinskis tells HipHossip that Rap star Soulja Boy is not buying a private plane, despite a report that he was shelling out $55 million for a tricked-out G5 jet, his spokesman said on Friday.

The celebrity website TMZ.com had reported the performer of such tracks as "Crank That (Soulja Boy)" and "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" bought the jet as a birthday present for himself. Soulja Boy turned 21 on Thursday.

"The elaborate rumors circulating about Soulja Boy purchasing a jet for his 21st birthday are grossly over exaggerated and are not true," spokesman Greg Miller said in a statement.

Soulja Boy, whose given name is DeAndre Cortez Way, recently borrowed a billionaire's private jet, but he has no immediate plans to buy one, said one source near the rapper.

The identity of the actual jet owner was not clear.

The Web savvy Soulja Boy first gained fame with online postings of his songs and his "Crank That" dance demonstration. He plans to celebrate his 21st birthday at a star-studded party in a Miami nightclub on Friday night.

4 PEOPLE SHOT, ONE DEAD AFTER GEORGE CLINTON SHOW IN OHIO, USA..

The Associated Press reports that a man fired several shots from a handgun during a large fight near an outdoor concert venue featuring funk music artist George Clinton, killing one person and wounding three others, police said Sunday.

The fight erupted before 10 p.m. Saturday at an intersection near Luke Easter Park, the venue for the eighth annual Unity in the Park festival. Police didn't have a description of the shooter, and no arrests had been made.

It was unclear how long after Clinton or the other musicians performed that the shooting erupted or what prompted it. Police said they didn't know if those involved in the fight were among concertgoers leaving the area.

"These were younger people, so we're not sure," police Sgt. Sammy Morris said. "George Clinton is an older (artist). We're not going to speculate."

A 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head died of his injuries early Sunday, Morris said. He didn't know the conditions of the other three who were wounded: a 20-year-old woman shot in the neck, and a 14-year-old boy and a 23-year-old man each hospitalized with leg wounds.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer newspaper reported earlier that the two most seriously wounded were in critical condition and the other two were stable.

The newspaper said thousands of people had gathered for the festival, which featured George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic as the headline act.
