R&B star KELIS has come under fire for backing out of a show in Brazil at the last minute after reportedly fearing for her safety. The Milkshake singer was reportedly given a $20,000 advance to perform at a concert in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (22Nov08). But according to website TMZ.com - which features a video of upset reporters in a row with her husband, rapper Nas - the star has pulled-out, insisting she doesn't feel safe enough to sing in the city. Kelis has yet to officially comment on the reports.
