Young Jeezy's Canadian tour has been marred with SHOOTINGS and being shut down by police from city to city! First Calgary, then Toronto and now London.

After the Toronto concert was cancelled on Thursday nite, I noticed on Facebook that disappointed fans were flocking to Jeezy's concert in London, Ontario. London is a small nice city close to Toronto and has a lot of urban music loving residents. Many people in London are WHITE and white hip-hop fans want nothing but to enjoy their music.

Another city in Canada like that is Kingston, Ontario which I lived for a year. However, London is also currently hosting a huge murder trial  for a young girl named Tori Stafford so media is cluttered over there as it is and police try to maintain order. On St Patrick's day, the city had a big outbreak of violence when several young ppl on a drinking binge and spree went nuts and burned down 17 police cruisers and a CTV news van.After all that, I felt that I had to do some snitch warnings and I called PC Rivers at London Police Media Relations to tell him there was a shooting at the Toronto Jeezy venue and I wanted the artists and the concert goers PROTECTED.

We spoke for a good 40 mins and the cops had it together ready for the nite, but to my shock another bunch of hoodlooms came out there with guns.

People inside the London Music Hall started running when shots rang out during the opening act of the Young Jeezy show in London Thursday night. “We were just running away, trying to get safe,” said one man, who travelled from Toronto to London for the concert. “I saw people running away. We went outside and we couldn’t leave right away, we had to answer a few (police) questions first.” The man, who would not give his name, said the shooting happened at the back of the club during the opening act.

He was back at the scene early Friday, dropping off a friend, who was picking up his car from a city parking lot that was surrounded by yellow police tape. More than 10 cruisers filled the Queens Ave. parking lot Thursday night about 11:30 p.m. when officers responded to a shooting inside the 600-seat venue in downtown London, which had been sold out for the show.

London police Friday revealed two men had been shot after a fight broke out inside the club. One of the men was treated at a Toronto hospital for a superficial gunshot wound. He has since been released.
Middlesex London EMS said one person was taken to hospital from the scene. That man is in serious, but stable condition, and police said his wounds are not considered life threatening.

London police are looking into whether the shooting Thursday night is linked to another shooting at a Young Jeezy show in Toronto earlier that day. “We have no suggestion that it is, but that’s something that’s being considered as part of this,” said Const. Anthea Fordyce. Police don’t have anyone in custody, nor do they have a description of the shooter, she said.

Police swarmed the club about midnight, taking names of people who were trying to leave, said a man who lives in the area. He said officers searched the area “pretty thoroughly” Thursday night.

Uniformed officers continued the search early Friday, checking in dumpsters and recycling bins in back alleys, as well as bushes around buildings in the area. Officers also scoured two nearby parking lots, looking for clues in the shooting. Investigators are interviewing witnesses and combing through surveillance cameras — both inside the club and city cameras on the street — as they continue to search for clues.

DIZZEE RASCAL will replace SNOOP DOGG on the bill of this spring’s (12) Snowbombing festival in Austria after the U.S. rapper scrapped his upcoming European tour dates. The Drop It Like It’s Hot hitmaker was to be the main headliner at the Mayrhofen festival in April (12), alongside Fatboy Slim and The Vaccines, but he pulled out of the event earlier this month (Jan12) and now British hip-hop star Rascal can’t wait to take his place.

He says, "I can’t wait to get back to Snowbombing, the last time was wicked but this time will be even better headlining the Forest stage. I’ve got a few new ones (songs) to try out on you and this time I’m actually going to learn to snowboard!"

OMG: LED ZEPPELIN TOUR IS SCRAPPED!

Plans for JIMMY PAGE and JOHN PAUL JONES to hit the road as LED ZEPPELIN in 2009 have been scrapped - because the rockers can't find a singer to replace ROBERT PLANT. Just a day after Peter Mensch, a spokesman for Page's management firm, defended the rock duo's plans to tour without their famous frontman, he is now attempting to end the speculation about a semi-reunion by telling Music Radar Led Zeppelin is "completely over".

Mensch says, "Led Zeppelin are over! If you didn't see them in 2007, you missed them. It's done. I can't be any clearer than that... There are absolutely no plans for them to continue. Zero. Frankly, I wish everybody would stop talking about it." Page and Jones were hoping to follow up a reunion show they performed in London at the end of 2007 with new shows, but Plant, who has since found success with musical partner Alison Krauss, had no interest in touring with his former bandmates.

And, despite reports Alter Bridge star Myles Kennedy had been drafted in to replace Plant, Mensch insists all reunion plans have been scrapped. He reveals the band auditioned singers but "no one worked out".

STABBING BRINGS WEBBIE GIG TO ABRUPT END!

Rapper WEBBIE's concert in Florida over the weekend (28Dec08) was marred by violence - leaving one person in hospital suffering from stab wounds. The hip-hop star performed in Boca Raton hotspot Club Pulse in Florida on Thursday (27Nov08), where around 700 fans had gathered to watch the MC in concert. But the event came to an abrupt end in the early hours of Friday (28Nov08) when police were called to the scene after reports of gunshots being fired just outside the venue.

One man was found with knife wounds and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. No one was found shot and no other injuries have been reported. It's not the first time Webbie's gigs have been linked to trouble - last month (24Nov08), a woman was left in a critical condition after being fatally shot in the head as she left the rapper's gig in Thibodaux, Los Angeles.

FEARING FOR HER SAFETY, NAS' WIFE KELIS BACKS OUT OF BRAZILIAN SHOW.

R&B star KELIS has come under fire for backing out of a show in Brazil at the last minute after reportedly fearing for her safety. The Milkshake singer was reportedly given a $20,000 advance to perform at a concert in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday (22Nov08). But according to website TMZ.com - which features a video of upset reporters in a row with her husband, rapper Nas - the star has pulled-out, insisting she doesn't feel safe enough to sing in the city. Kelis has yet to officially comment on the reports.

ALL CANADIAN: OUR GIRL CELINE DION IS ILL! SEVERAL CONCERTS CANCELLED!

CELINE DION has been forced to postpone a string of shows on the North American leg of her world tour due to a persistent respiratory virus. The My Heart Will Go On hitmaker pulled out of performances in Minneapolis, Minnesota; Chicago, Illinois and Indianapolis, Indiana earlier this month (Nov08). And now she has been ordered by doctors to scrap further concerts in Tulsa, Oklahoma; Kansas City and St Louis, Missouri; Salt Lake City, Utah; San Jose, California; Omaha, Nebraska and Denver, Colorado.

Dion is recuperating from a recurrent infection that has been further complicated by inflamed vocal cords, according to a statement released by concert promoter AEG Live. The firm adds: "Her physician has instructed her to refrain from singing in order to completely recover." The singer, who is currently on her Taking Chances world tour, has already rescheduled the dates for December (08), January and February (09).

RIHANNA CANCELS TODAY'S INDONESIA CONCERT AMID SECURITY CONCERNS!

Pop singer RIHANNA has cancelled a concert in Indonesia amid concerns about her safety, just a day before she was set to take the stage. The Bajan beauty was scheduled to perform in front of a sold-out crowd in the capital Jakarta on Friday (14Nov08). But Rihanna, currently on tour in Australia, reportedly changed her mind when the Aussie government issued a travel advisory this week, warning its citizens to avoid Indonesia.

The warning came amid fears of revenge attacks after three Islamic militants were executed for their involvement in the 2002 Bali bombings. Event organisers have expressed their hope the Umbrella singer will return to the city in January (09).

LENNY KRAVITZ CANCELS CANADIAN TOUR!!!

LENNY KRAVITZ has cancelled the remaining dates on his Canadian tour after he was struck down with a throat infection. The Let Love Rule singer had rescheduled a number of dates on his current tour due to a conflicting schedule. But now he has been forced to scrap the rest of his shows due to a bad throat.

A statement on his website says, "It is with great regret that Lenny Kravitz has had to cancel the remainder of his Canadian tour. Lenny is suffering from severe throat problems that have resulted in him not being able to sing or even talk." However, Kravitz appears hopeful of a full recovery, with the statement adding, "2009 will be a huge year for Lenny with a World Tour that will play heavily in the U.S. and Canada. Lenny looks forward to seeing all of his Canadian fans again at this time and once again apologises for the very unforeseen cancellation."

Good move in a way Lenny, I've had ear, throat and every other infection in the last 2 weeks after that deadly strain was unleashed in Ontario.

AFTER COMEBACK, JANET JACKSON CANCELS YET ANOTHER TOUR STOP!

JANET JACKSON has cancelled a concert in Connecticut altogether, just weeks after postponing it because of illness. The Nasty hitmaker was forced to cancel a string of shows at the start of October (08) after suffering from a bout of vertigo, but she returned to the stage on 15 October (08) and resumed the remaining dates on her Rock Witchu tour.

But she has now scrapped the Connecticut gig completely amidst reports of poor ticket sales. A statement released by concert venue bosses at Mohegan Sun Arena reads: "Mohegan Sun regrets to announce that the concert featuring Janet Jackson has been officially cancelled . There will not be a rescheduled date." Fans have been advised to return to their point of sale to get a refund.

JANET JACKSON HAS OFFICIALLY CANCELED HER TOUR ACCORDING TO RADIO STATION!

The AP reports that the doctor has again ordered Janet Jackson to postpone a return to her "Rock Witchu" tour. Jackson was scheduled to resume her tour last night night at the Turning Stone Resort in New York after cancelling a show over the weekend in Connecticut.

A message posted on the resort and casino's website stated the show had been cancelled at the advice of Jackson's doctor. She has since postponed several shows, including Thursday night's show at Madison Square Garden in New York.

Promoters say the dates will be rescheduled. No one is saying what is ailing Jackson, who was rushed to a hospital in Montreal before a concert in late September. As I reported last month, strong sources tell me she is pregnant and is going thru a heavy bout of morning sickness......Meanwhile, Atlanta's V103FM officially announced that the tour's over. That Toronto gig was the last stop! What luck!

OASIS PLAN ANOTHER NORTH AMERICAN TOUR AFTER STAGE ATTACK .

OASIS are to reteam with RYAN ADAMS for another North American tour just three months after guitarist NOEL GALLAGHER was attacked onstage here in T-Dot Canada. The group scrapped the final dates of the tour to allow Gallagher to recover from injuries he sustained after falling awkwardly into monitor speakers as he tried to escape a lunging Daniel Sullivan during Oasis' 9 September (08) show in Toronto.

The group has since scrapped further shows in Europe, but plan to honour dates on an upcoming British tour next month (Oct08). But the incident hasn't put them off touring in North America - Oasis and Adams will play a series of pre-Christmas shows beginning in Oakland, California on 3 December (08). The trek will continue to 20 December (08) with dates in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Chicago, Ontario and New York, where the band will perform at Madison Square Garden.

UPDATE ON BREAKING NEWS WITH JANET JACKSON'S EMERGENCY HOSPITALIZATION IN CANADA.

As you know I have been trying to update this story all morning. It has been crazy! She was here in Toronto Sunday night and then headed off to Montreal. Janet"got suddenly ill during the sound check" before her concert in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital, according to a statement released by W&W Public Relations owned by Patti Webster.

She is being monitored at the hospital, and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson's condition. On the Toronto Sunday night concert, I will review that show later. Wishing her a speedy recovery.

CANADIAN SINGER k.d LANG RESCHEDULES BENEFIT GIG.

Canadian singer k.d lang has been forced to re-schedule a charity concert. The star was due to perform for Los Angeles radio station KCRW's annual A Sounds Eclectic Evening benefit concert on 12 October (08), but the station pulled the gig following scheduling conflicts. KCRW Music Director Nic Harcourt says, "We've always had a high-standard for the bands we've invited to play this concert and changing the date to fall - at the end of the summer festival season - proved to be a bigger hurdle than we were expecting."

BREAKING NEWS: OASIS CONCERT CANCELLED!

Oasis have rescheduled their concert in Ontario, Canada after Noel Gallagher was hurt by a fan on stage on Sunday at the Virgin Festival in Toronto.

A statement posted on the band's website revealed the star had suffered "bruising to his ribs and hip" after he was pushed during his set. "Despite resting up yesterday, the extent of his injuries mean he will not be able to perform tonight."

The concert has now been rescheduled to take place on 15 December 2008. Ticketholders have been advised to hold on to their passes, which will be valid for the new date or can be refunded from the outlet which sold them.

WE HEAR NOEL GALLAGHER WAS VERY HURT DURING THAT STAGE INTRUDER INCIDENT HERE IN TORONTO!

Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher was taken to hospital after being shoved onto his speaker during a concert in Toronto, the band's official website said Monday.

The band was playing "Morning Glory" on Sunday evening when the unidentified man "ran on from the back of the stage and pushed Noel from behind, who fell heavily on to his monitor speakers," a statement on the band's website said.

Gallagher, 41, returned to the stage and continued playing shortly thereafter, but was taken to hospital afterwards "to be examined for a suspected fractured rib and ligament damage."

The assailant has been detained by police. The band has not yet taken a decision regarding its upcoming concert in London, Ontario on Tuesday evening, the statement said.

MYA BLAMES CASH ISSUES FOR MISSED SHOW!!

R&B singer MYA has slammed reports her "diva behaviour" caused the cancellation of a recent club gig in Barbados, blaming non-payment for the scrapped show. The Case of the Ex star was scheduled to host and perform at the Celebrity Party event at Club NXS earlier this month (Jul08). However, she pulled out days before the gig after learning the event promoter had a lack of funds, and was therefore unable to pay her for the appearance. Mya was heavily criticised by partygoers for the late cancellation - but she insists it wasn't her fault, and has apologised to her fans for the incident.

In a statement released on behalf of the star, her attorney Paul Gardner says, "A week and a half prior to the scheduled appearance at Club NXS in St. Lawrence Gap, Mya was informed that the promoter of this event did not have the funds available to accommodate her appearance. "Despite this, the promoters of the 'Celebrity Party' went on to include Mya on the promotional material, and to announce her appearance on the local radio station. Because of the lack of funding, Mya was no longer obligated to appear at this event. "Furthermore, in addition to a last minute meet and greet with young students and athletes, Mya attended a dinner organised by the local radio station.

Unbeknownst to her the radio station had advertised her presence as the prize for two contest winners. Mya graciously attended this dinner, even though this she was not required to do so under the contract. "Mya would like to apologise to her fans for the confusion and disappointment caused by this situation. However, she would also like her fans to know that she takes her professional engagements very seriously, and would have attended this event had it been organised properly and if the promoter had the originally agreed upon monetary compensation available."

COLDPLAY TICKETS WITHDRAWN !!!

British rockers COLDPLAY have withdrawn tickets for a forthcoming gig in Scotland - because they were printed on the wrong paper. Fans who purchased seats for the band's concert at Glasgow's SECC arena in December (08) through sales company Ticketmaster have been told to return the paper stubs as soon as possible because of an administration error. The promotion company in charge of the gig, DF Concerts, has issued an apology over the mix-up.

A spokesman for the firm says, "Tickets purchased through Ticketmaster for the Coldplay gigs at the SECC have been printed on incorrect stock, but we are confident that Ticketmaster will be able to replace all tickets for their customers in advance of the gigs in December. However, it will be more difficult to replace tickets originally purchased through Ticketmaster and then sold on through the secondary ticket market. "In this case, ticket holders should contact their point of purchase. We urge these secondary sources to look after their customers at this time." Coldplay are currently touring America and Canada but will return to their native U.K. later this year (08) for 14 gigs in the run-up to Christmas (08).

PALESTINIANS URGE SNOOP DOGG TO BOYCOTT ISRAEL!

Rap superstar SNOOP DOGG has been urged by Palestinian campaigners to cancel an upcoming concert in Israel and join them in "boycotting" the Jewish state. The Drop It Like It's Hot hitmaker is scheduled to perform in the country on 18 September (08) - but activists belonging to the Palestinian Campaign for the Academic and Cultural Boycott of Israel (PACBI) is calling on Snoop Dogg to follow their example. They have expressed their disappointment at the hip-hop star's tour plans, especially when tensions between Palestine and Israel are so high, according to AllHipHop.com.

The PACBI has released a statement saying: "The Palestinian arts community was deeply saddened and surprised by the news of your upcoming performance in Israel on September 18 in Ramat Gan. "We strongly urge you to cancel your plans to perform in Israel until the time comes when Israel ends its illegal occupation of Palestinian and Arab territories and respects the relevant precepts of international law concerning Palestinian rights to freedom, self-determination and equality.

"How can an artist whose name is prominently associated with this form of popular and freedom-based musical expression, rap, be apathetic to the monstrosity of Israel's current war crimes in Gaza, its Apartheid Wall, declared illegal by the International Court of Justice at the Hague, or its continued violation of fundamental Palestinian rights? "By performing in Ramat Gan you are helping to perpetuate this special form of apartheid that denies us our rights. We sincerely hope that you shall cancel your announced performance in Israel."
