CARLY RAE JEPSEN'S COMPUTER TARGETED BY CANADIAN HACKER.

Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Call Me Maybe” has been nominated for Song of the Year at the 2013 Grammys.

A man from one of the most lawless sections of Canada is in hot water. A British Columbia man is facing harassment charges in a computer-hacking case linked to Mission, B.C., pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen. Vancouver police issued a release Tuesday that Abbotsford resident Christopher David Long, 25, has been charged with fraudulently obtaining telecommunications services, unauthorized use of a computer, mischief of data, identity fraud and possession of stolen property.

Police said the charges related to an investigation launched last March after they received a report of harassment of a "local, well-known celebrity."

They would not identify the celebrity but several media outlets say the alleged target was the Call Me Maybe singer, who hails from Mission, a few minutes northwest of Abbotsford.

Carly Rae Jepsen Nude Photos Missing?

Carly Rae Jepsen has called Vancouver police -- and it wasn't a maybe.

The Canadian singer, who rocketed to pop stardom with her hit "Call Me Maybe," contacted cops in March to report stolen items. According to gossip website TMZ, the files stolen included nude photos of the star.

"The Vancouver police are investigating the unauthorized use of a computer, theft of telecommunications and criminal harassment related to Ms. Jepsen," said Const. Lindsey Houghton.

"One suspect - an adult male - has been identified, but at this time he has not been arrested or charged, as the investigation continues."

It is not the first time this week Jepsen's naked body has been in the news. The 26-year-old responded to her more than 1.7 million Twitter followers about online reports that she had a sex tape.

She tweeted on July 23: "Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me."

Jepsen is due in Toronto for the Kiss Whambam August 16th 2012.

Justin Bieber Announces BELIEVE Tour with Carly Rae Jepsen

Justin Bieber has announced the dates for his upcoming "Believe" tour, kicking off in support of his summer album on Sept. 29 in Arizona.

His fellow Canadian and protégé Carly Rae Jepsen will open the 46-date North American tour, with other guests to be announced soon. Wednesday morning, Bieber tweeted a link to the dates ( via MTV) and then wrote, "yes... @carlyraejepsen is coming on the #BELIEVEtour !! my other special guest is.....you will have to wait and see (sic)."

Earlier this month, the 18-year-old pop star's manager, Scooter Braun, tweeted a hint about the upcoming tour. He wrote, "hmmm. @justinbieber with @thewantedmusic and @carlyraejepsen on tour could be an interesting show." Braun also represents Jepsen and U.K. boy band The Wanted, so while the tour combination he mentions is very much a possibility, we'll just have to wait and see.

The arena tour hits 44 U.S. and Canadian cities over a span of four months, wrapping in Florida on Jan. 26. Bieber's sophomore album "Believe" drops over the summer, on June 19. "Boyfriend," his first new single, has sold 1.98 million downloads to date, while his Mother's Day charity single, "Turn to You," has sold 102,000 according to Nielsen SoundScan. Over the weekend, Bieber performed "Boyfriend," at the Billboard Music Awards and won the fan vote for Most Exhilarating Performance.
