Some coupling was seen on the red carpet and around the building at the BET awards. Diamond is now dating Souljaboy. Now, isn't that rocking the cradle? But then when I left ATL, I interviewed Diamond and Princess in 2005 and remember he was much younger than him. DeaAndre was only 15 at the time. OK, so 2 years younger. They were inseparable at yesterday's BET awards all hand in hand.

While Diamond doesn't appear on VH1's "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta," the Best Female Hip Hop Artist BET Award nominee sure gets her name thrown around a lot on the show. Lil Scrappy has openly talked about how Diamond broke his heart, and his overprotective mother Momma Dee has also had some disparaging remarks.

"I wish everybody the best. I feel like only one person can judge me, and that's God," Diamond told MTV News on Sunday on the BET Awards red carpet, hand-in-hand with her current boyfriend, Soulja Boy. "That's my past. I'm in the future right now, and I wish everybody the best."

I know the Scrappy family very well. Mama Dee raised those kids in the hardest times struggling to feed her boy and girl as she told me in a 2005 interview in Atlanta. Dee's a damn good mother and Scrappy did like he said "what any brother will do."
