VETERAN RAPPER HEAVY D DEAD AT 44.

BREAKING NEWS: The 44-year-old star, who found fame with his 1991 hit Now That We Found Love and appeared in several movies, was reportedly rushed to a hospital this afternoon after a 911 call was made from his Beverly Hills home.Officials tell TMZ that no foul play is suspected, and they are investigating the death.

Heavy D, whose real name is Dwight Arrington Myers, had just performed at two special events last month: the Michael Jackson tribute concert in Wales and the BET Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta. He also has a minor role in the new Eddie Murphy comedy Tower Heist.The overweight star tweeted a simple final message earlier today: "BE INSPIRED!"

Chris Brown Leads the Pack with Five Nominations Followed By Beyoncé and Kanye West with Four Nominations

International sensation Beyoncé receives nominations in the Album of the Year, Record of the Year, Best Female R&B/Soul Artist and Best Dance Performance categories.

Kanye West is tied with Beyoncé with four nominations in three categories (Best Hip Hop Song of the Year, Album of the Year and Song of the Year) and is followed by three nominations for artists Kelly Rowland, Adele, Marsha Ambrosius, and Miguel.

The SOUL TRAIN AWARDS is a presentation of Centric and Sunseeker Media and directed by Manny Rodriguez. We decided to name her Jeyonce and we already know one of the names is gonna be Fela. Kelly Rowland has let it slip that former Destiny’s Child bandmate Beyonce is expecting a baby girl.The R&B superstar has yet to reveal the sex of her baby, but Rowland has told Us Weekly magazine that her friend’s first child will be a daughter. Asked what she might buy the unborn tot for an upcoming baby shower,

Rowland said, “I don’t know. I think her dad (Jay-Z) is gonna give her everything anyways, all I can give her is love.”

Not realizing she had slipped up, Rowland was asked if the child would be spoiled and responded, “I think she’ll be very well behaved. Her parents will make sure of that.”

Meanwhile Bey was spotted entering that office building she works at in NYC on Friday the 4th November. Congrats to Bey as always! We love her here at HipHossip. She's showing good now. Standing in front of her face in 2004 interviewing her, I know she is a small tiny person. Next to Tiny (T.I's wife), L'il Kim and Snooki, Bey will be the next smallest person.
