#HNNCrime Nigerian Gospel Singer to be EXECUTED for Heroin smuggling in #Indonesia

A Nigerian gospel singer who has released several songs while in prison is now on death row after being found guilty of smuggling Heroin into Indonesia.

Okwudili Ayotanze is be executed with two other Nigerians, Jamiu Owolabi Abashin who was caught smuggling Heroin using a false name Raheem Agbaje Salami, and Silvester Obiekwe.

40-yr-old Ayotanze was caught in 2001 trying to smuggle 1.15 kilograms of heroin from Pakistan into Soekarno-Hatta international airport in Jakarta.

Reports say Ayotanze's studio is the supermax Pasir Putih prison on the notorious Nusakambangan island, known as Indonesia's Alcatraz.

And his band mates are fellow inmates on guitars and a prison guard on the keyboard, having written and sang songs such as 'God Bless Indonesia' and 'Never be afraid'.

Dili as he’s fondly called in prison, repented while in prison. He released his first album in 2008 titled ‘God You Know’ with over 70 written songs to his credit.

According to the World Ministry blog, his songs call for repentance, encouraging others to be strong in the Lord and beware of the Devil's antics using his life as an example.

Although the date of his execution is not known but he’s to be executed simultaneously with Abashin, Obiekwe and seven other felons who were convicted of drug smuggling.

#HNNMoney Authorities seize 652 fake $100 bills at JFK Airport #HNNCrime

Nigerian banks and Bureau De Change money outlets never like to take US $100 bills. Now comes word of more fake ones circulating. 

A package flying into JFK from Ecuador had $65,200 worth of phony $100 bills, according to a press release from US Customs and Border Protection.

CBP found the counterfeit cash — 652 bills in total — taped inside multiple flower-patterned mats and a bright red shoe bag.

“Every day CBP officers are protecting the American public from various dangers,” said Robert Perez, director of CBP’s New York field operations.

“This seizure is a testament to the dedication our officers demonstrate daily in support of CBP’s mission.”

The world is set to experience a total eclipse on Friday, although few people will see the eclipse in its total glory and North Americans will miss out entirely.

The total eclipse - when moon completely obscures our view of the sun - will happen mostly over the north Atlantic Ocean Friday morning and will only be visible in the Faroe Islands, located halfway between Iceland and the tip of Scotland, and Norway's Svalbard Islands.

Those remote islands are now destinations for scores of eclipse chasers and scientists like Jay Pasachoff at Williams College who see this as a unique opportunity to study the sun.

"We need good weather and we won't know until the last day whether we will get some holes in the clouds to see the eclipse," said Pasachoff, who was heading to Svalbard Wednesday and has seen more than 60 eclipses.

This person now says he's not a practicing Journalist but yet appears to be falsely representing Point blank news. They say she's a blogger in Ireland who promotes herself as some Iron lady of blogging.
