DRAKE AND KARDINAL OFFISHALL HOST LINCOLN RUSSELL'S FUNDRAISING DINNER PARTY

The Lincoln Rising's Fundraising Dinner and Birthday Partyis a very special event in honor of Lincoln J Russell. Sunday, December 26, 2010, Director X, and friends are coming together in support of their long time friend, Lincoln J. Russell, at an exclusive Fundraising Dinner hosted by DRAKE, including a performance by Aion Clarke with Noah "40" Shebib on the Keyboard. To be followed by a Birthday Party hosted by Director X with a special performance by Kardinal Offishall. Lincoln, a former stunt man and rising star in the martial arts community of Toronto was diagnosed with CIDP (Chronic Inflammatory Demyelinating), an acquired immune-mediated inflammatory disorder of the peripheral nervous system.

This debilitating disease is believed to be due to immune cells, which normally protect the body, doing the opposite, attacking the nerves. Lincoln has gone from lost feeling in his legs to a wheelchair to a hospital bed and not being able to sit up, unassisted. This is an annual event in Celebration and support of our friend Lincoln. Canada's health care system is exceptional but does not cover the cost of all treatments or the operations that would allow Lincoln to get back on his feet again. Director X is asking for your help. Please come out and join Lincoln's friends and supporters...... we all look forward to the day of The Lincoln Rising.

Akon (Feat. Colby O’ Donis & Kardinal Offishall) - Beautiful.

Colby is so hot in that video. He was here two weeks ago and arrived so late that I was too tired to go see him. They were shooting this video the next day I believe.

THE MOST DISAPPOINTING ALBUMS OF 2008!

The Smoking Section is a reputable hip-hop website online and Gotty ha sthe worst albums of the Year. Could they be one hit wonder albums or bad sales numbers? We couldn't help but seeing our own Canadian artist Kardinal Offishall as the first on the doomed list! OMG! Gotty. The first week sales were not good as there were only 12k sold.

He reports......."

When word got out that Kardinal Offishall signed with Akon’s Konvict Muzik imprint, fans crossed their fingers that he would get some recognition to accompany the foundation he’s paved from his years in the game. What they didn’t account for is Kardy snagging every notable R&B act to drown out his reggae-rap vibe. The-Dream, Rihanna, and T-Pain (to name a few,) all partook in Now 08: The Not 4 Sale Edition that eventually forced K.O. to become a bigger sellout than intended."

WHO SOLD WHAT? Kardinal Offishall Makes Top 40 LIST BUT SOLD ONLY 12K?

Hey, this are the numbers I got from Cyrus Langhorne's article on SOHH.Com. Kardinal Offishall's new album released exactly a week ago sold only 12,000 copies? They do say he moved up the charts into the Top 40 despite those sales figures. My thing is that I wanna know from Soundscan what the Canada figures are? That cross country American tour with Akon was so successful I thought!

Is America still cold to Canadian artists or is it just the name of the album? "Not 4 Sale" which has the one big hit "Dangerous" which everyone loves......or is it just gonna be a one hit wonder? Only time will tell. I scheduled an interview with Kardi the day after the album came out but it was abruptly canceled an hour later due to scheduling difficulties. If you have not picked a copy of the album up, do it today. The whole album is super!

HAVE YOU BOUGHT YOUR COPY OF KARDI'S ALBUM YET?

If you haven't, you better......The album release party is tomorrow in Toronto. Kardi is still in NYC and will be in tomorrow. I scheduled a phone interview with him in about an hour but we had to cancel it because of last minute scheduling issues. I will try to catch up with him on the sales numbers and media tour. With Mimi and John Legend in town, they may be at the gig to help him celebrate.

DYNAMIC CANADIAN RAPPER KARDINAL OFFISHALL AND AKON PERFORMING ON JAY LENO'S TONIGHT SHOW.

He is often credited as Canada's "hip-hop ambassador", and is well known for his reggae and dancehall-influenced style of hip-hop. His new album Not 4 sale comes out today Sept 9th 2008.

KARDI ON JAY LENO TONIGHT AT 11.30PM ON NBC.

Toronto's Kardinal Offishall is on the Tonight show with Jay Leno tonight. I think he's gonna do that song "Dangerous" alone. I've always wanna see that. But then who knows, the Konvict ay be there. They were all at the VMA's yesterday. I took the above photo April 4th 2008, the first time I met him.

He was telling me about some video called "Dangerous" he just shot in Miami as I did a short interview with him and I was yawning. Yawn no more! How 5 months can change things when you're determined!!! Congrats on your ongoing success Kardi and that video is HOT!
