A Racist James Holmes. The American who opened fire at a movie theater years ago is the racist version of the one last night in a church and wore apartheid flags on his Facebook profile picture. He allegedly said Black people rape their women (white women) and were "taking over America" What kind of sick monster can be welcomed to a church prayer meeting, sit and appear to worship for an hour, before unleashing terrible violence, a brutal massacre on nine defenseless parishioners, killing three black men and six black women? What deep hatred could motivate so incomprehensible an infamy? What obscene motive could there be to commit this awful act of terror shedding innocent blood before the altar of a loving compassionate God? 21 year old Dylann Roof the ex-con white man who apparently committed this terrible crime in Charleston South Carolina last night even as he uttered racist epithets has deeply wounded our already fractured nation. He’s a racist James Holmes; a disgruntled psychopath in this case apparently driven by racial animus that is an attack on every person of good will. Now leaders from every corner of the country must call for us to come together to insure this creep is punished, even as his hatred is defeated by shared grief and love.
Guns are legal in the USA. I lived there 29 years and 10 mos. Until there is strict regulation like what I fought for in Canada before I was deported, people will continue to DIE. I am a Gun violence activist and never asking to ban them but always wanting to regulate them. I was not happy when the Canadian Conservatives canceled the long gun registry. Most of you want to move to America. I owned 5 guns while there. Get ready to own your first. If someone in that prayer meeting had a gun, he won't have killed 9 people and reloaded 5 times.
