Last night, Country Music Television held their annual CMT Music Awards, which celebrate the best in music videos specifically by country artists. The show is the all-country channel’s answer to the MTV Video Music Awards, and it typically features the biggest stars that the genre has to offer.
Country darling Carrie Underwood ended up the night’s biggest winner, taking home three trophies (to add to her already extensive collection). Her “Something in the Water” (above) won both Video of the Year and Female Video of the Year, and her Miranda Lambert duet “Somethin’ Bad” was crowned best Collaborative Video.
