First Nicole Scherzinger announced plans to release a solo project away from the Pussycat Dolls. Today, group member Kimberly Wyatt says she will follow suit in the near future.

"It's a dance pop record and I'm so excited by it," says Wyatt of a song that may lead her solo debut.

While Wyatt remains mum on the status of her solo debut, she does make it clear that the Pussycat Dolls are far from over.

"It's not the end of the band," she tells Contact Music.

"It's the foundation for all solo projects. We are all independent girls, but will always be Pussycat Dolls as well."

Reports that a potential split of the group was on the horizon have been dismissed by each member since an onstage riff made headlines when group member Melody Thornton told fans "Thank you so much for supporting me - even if I'm not featured, you know what I'm saying?".

Thornton's on stage comment stemmed from member Nicole Scherzinger's name being prominently placed as "The Pussycat Dolls featuring Nicole Scherzinger".

Scherzinger attempted to launch a solo career with the 2006 effort "Her Name Is Nicole".

A jubilant Whitney Houston told well wishers "I am back home" at a special listening party for her soon to be released album "I Look To You" this week.

Among those in attendance at the party were Stevie Wonder, Halle Berry, Beverly Johnson and humanitarian and former NBA star Magic Johnson.

Playing the album and sharing a few words with those in attendance at the Beverly Hilton, as she had done last week in New York and before that London, Houston cited her daughter Bobbi Kristina as inspiration for the new album.

At one point, speaking of the three year period time it took to record the album and Clive Davis, Houston said "But I'm home where I truly belong, don't ya think?"

Titled "I Look To You," Houston's new album will arrive in stores and digital retailers September 1.

About time Amy cleaned up her act and start making some raw cash for MORE DRUGS! According to reports, Amy Winehouse was offered £500,000 (which amounts to $824,440) to launch a fragrance.

If this is true, Amy would join the ranks of Paris Hilton, Queen Latifah, Mary J. Blige, and P. Diddy, all of whom have their own scents.

Reports say the company wants to capture the essence of Winehouse's signature "50's" style, though it's not clear exactly what that would smell like. Hopefully not like hairspray and cigarettes.

I just wanna COMMEND TMZ for these pictures. They are not private. They are EVIDENCE. These are the 2003 raids though and may be part of the child molestation case. First as a Phamacist of 21 years, I want to tell everyone in this forum that celebs never have their meds in their own names. This is WRONG and must be regulated. Nobody should have any aliases, a phenomenom that will actually get Howard K. Stern OFF in the Anna Nicole case. The meds were "technically" not Annas. Now her using them is another case entirely. I do not see any reason MJ should not be taking a pain killer, muscle relaxer an anxiolytic like drug or an antidepressant. He is a very heavy dancer with neck and limbs involved in all aspects of his dancing. as for the anxiety and depressant drugs, he needed those when going thru the second child molestation case which was very stressful. People go thru stress but when you start getting into anaesthesia, it becomes risky. MJ's medical check up was a clean bill ready for the O2 Arena in London. Doctors alone should not be blamed for these orders. Pharmacists too have a responsibility to the public when filling the orders. If something is not right, DON'T fill it. There is too much Oxycontin outside the pharmacy versus inside. What is going on? We Pharmacists need to be held accountable too in this mix. Heath Ledger's pharmacists should be liable as well for that deadly mix. What about Gerald Levert? Levert's death was caused by a fatal combination of prescription narcotics and over-the-counter drugs. The drugs in his bloodstream included the narcotic pain relievers Vicodin, Percocet, and Darvocet, along with anxiety medication Xanax and two over-the-counter antihistamines. The autopsy also revealed that Levert had pneumonia. The official cause of death was acute intoxication, and the death was ruled accidental. Gerald Levert was only 40 years old. (Wikipedia) But accidental was those OTC antihistamines may have caused the fatal interation with the darvo, perco and vicodin. He didn't need all 3! One could have been for breakthru pain and the other for bad pain but Darvocet is an evil drug and actually drug of choice for SUICIDE! Propoxyphene as it's known as can really HATE Xanax in the system at the same time. Following the disclosure of Gerald Levert's cause of death, a family spokesman stated that all the drugs found in Levert's bloodstream were prescribed to the singer. Levert was taking the pain medication because of chronic pain from a lingering shoulder problem and surgery in 2005 to repair a severed Achilles tendon. The whole prescribing bizness must be regulated and we pharmacists need to be watched too.

If reports are to be believed, late King of Pop Michael Jackson's kin have stored his body in Motown maestro Berry Gordy's crypt in the Hollywood Hills, Los Angeles, until they sort out what to do with the superstar's remains.

Sources have revealed that Jackson's brother Jermaine and father Joseph are insistent the Gloved One be buried at Neverland Ranch so that the family can profit from a proposed Graceland-style museum there, a process that may take years.

"Jermaine is the one that wants him at Neverland-he and Joseph -- because of the whole Elvis thing and the money potential. They are seeing dollar signs," the New York Post quoted a family source as saying.

On the other hand, adds the source, Jackson's mother Katherine and most of his siblings want that his body be laid to rest elsewhere out of respect for his wish, following his acquittal on child-molestation charges, to never return to Neverland.

The source says that her son's physical purgatory has left Katherine shaken.

"She is still upset that Michael isn't buried and he is at Gordy's spot in Forest Lawn. This fighting has to stop. We can never unite, and that's an injustice," the source said.

The newspaper report suggests that the fight between the clan has become so contentious that Jermaine rode in a separate Rolls-Royce limousine to Jacko's public memorial at Los Angeles' Staples Center, even though his mother had wanted all the brothers to ride together.

Meanwhile, most of the kids and Katherine are said to be onboard with a proposed documentary about the family, which can earn them 20 million dollars.

"They're doing this documentary because with the kids, they will get 20 million dollars," the source said, adding that Katherine was pushing all her children to be a part of it.

At least if they make money out of it, the children will be taken care of. That matters. Too man people have exploited his estate.

Legendary radio announcer Martin Streek, most famous for his work on CFNY/Edge 102 over several decades, before being unceremoniously fired from the station in May, is dead. He committed suicide on Monday.

The news was first reported late Monday night by Mike Boon, based on comments left on Boon's article about Streek's firing. Boon's article about Streek's death (which has since been updated) was met with no small amount of confusion and skepticism earlier tonight, but Streek's Legendary radio announcer Martin Streek, most famous for his work on CFNY/Edge 102 over several decades, before being unceremoniously fired from the station in May, is dead. He committed suicide on Monday.

The news was first reported late Monday night by Mike Boon, based on comments left on Boon's article about Streek's firing. Boon's article about Streek's death (which has since been updated) was met with no small amount of confusion and skepticism earlier tonight, but Streek's death has since been confirmed on Twitter by people close to Streek (like Kneale Mann), as well as to Torontoist by several current and former Edge employees who knew him.

David Marsden, CFNY's founder, wrote on The Southern Ontario/WNY Radio-TV Forum that Streek "put on his wings earlier today, to the shock of most everyone....Good night Martin. We don't know what forced you to take this step but we do wish you a wonderful and peaceful rest." According to Marsden, Streek's final Facebook status update, set on Monday, was:
