They would not say when the child is due.

The couple is engaged to be married in a private ceremony later this year.
Swizz Beatz, 31, -- whose real name is Kasseem Dean -- has one son from his marriage to Mashonda Tifrere. He also has a second son from a previous relationship.

Lil’ Kim is coming to central Illinois. The platinum-selling rapper is to perform at 7 p.m. June 12 at the Canopy Club in Urbana. SIMON'S LAST DAY ON AMERICAN IDOL AND WHAT HE TOLD RYAN.
Simon Cowell joined Ryan’s radio show earlier yesterday to share his thoughts on his final night of judging on "American Idol."
The always brutally frank Cowell shared that the aspect he won’t miss about “American Idol” is the fact that he “won’t have to do the auditions again." He admitted, "the live shows are fun, it’s the traveling [and] doing auditions [that are] torture.” This, and a short story he recalled about being on a long flight with Ryan who was singing “Party in the U.S.A.,” are part of the reason he’s leaving, he joked.
Cowell revealed that he will miss “the fun” of being part of “American Idol.” He said, “What people don’t know about the show is that there’s absolutely no preparation, and the fact that we’ve gotten away with what we’ve gotten away with, and we can make it up and no one shouts at us.” In true Simon Cowell fashion, he shared that his favorite part was “the fact that [he] got away with [all the craziness].”
Along with pulling fast ones, Cowell said, “the performance I like best is when Fantasia [Barrino] sang ‘Summertime,’ that was my favorite, followed by my worst which was Clay Aiken murdering ‘Grease’ in the red jacket.”
Part of the success of “American Idol” Cowell said he attributes to the fact that “we allowed these shows to be non-politically correct and I think that was the difference, and actually I have to credit Fox with that I don’t think any other network would have allowed what we did on their network.”
When asked about fellow judge Randy Jackson, Cowell said he will always remember “the fact that I’ve never ever understood a single thing [Randy] has said in nine years…I’m not being rude, I don’t know whether he’s complimenting someone or not. I mean all those, ‘Yo dawg, whatever, whatever, whatever,’ I haven’t got a clue.”
Despite Cowell’s departure from “American Idol,” he won’t be taking a break anytime soon. “I don’t have a break, I go straight back to another show [in the U.K.],” he shared. Don’t be too overwhelmed with grief, however, because Cowell will be back to work in the U.S. again in September.
Cowell, as always, left us with a joke. When asked if he’ll ever work with Ryan again he said with a devilish smile, “Never, but I thought about it.”

FORBES RATES THE TOP EARNING AMERICAN IDOLS.
What does this week's American Idol winner have to look forward to? Far less than in the past. The pop music market, now saturated with close to 100 of the show's alums, is showing signs of Idol fatigue. Earnings for some of Idol's top vocalists have nosedived over the past year. The show that reshaped television and the music business just isn't minting cash for its stars like it once did.Kris Allen, the 2009 Idol winner, has sold just 300,000 albums, according to Nielsen SoundScan. In the past year his music and touring sales have delivered an estimated $748,000--nothing much to sing about. He places 10th on their annual list of the top-earning stars launched by American Idol.
Jennifer Hudson's light touring schedule and the end of her lucrative role as Avon spokeswoman hit the Oscar winner in the pocketbook, too. Forbes estimates that she earned $3.5 million in the year from June 1, 2009, to the end of this month, compared with $5 million the previous year. That dropped her to sixth place from second on last year's list. Carrie Underwood, No. 1 on our list, earned an estimated $13 million over the past year--$1 million less than the year before. One Idol star, Taylor Hicks, didn't earn enough to remain on their list.
Then you have Reuben Studdard who stole our hearts so much and after he won, nothing else was heard of after the first album. I was sure disappointed.
LADY GAGA HAS LUPUS AND TELLS FANS NOT TO WORRY!
Lady Gaga had fans gasping after she collapsed on stage in March in New Zealand during her "The Fame Monster" tour, but the singer - who reveled she was recently tested for lupus - wants her devoted little monsters not to worry about her health. "I have heart palpitations and... things," Gaga recently told The Times of London. "But, it's OK. It's just from fatigue and other things."The eccentric singer told the paper that her family has a history with lupus - a disease which causes the immune system to attack the body.
"I'm very connected to my aunt, Joanne, who died of lupus. It's a very personal thing. I don't want my fans to be worried about me," she explained, saying that she had been tested for the disease that can be genetic. "But I don't want anyone to be worried."
The singer also told the paper that she experienced a slight health scare recently while in Tokyo.
"I was having trouble breathing," she said. "I had a little oxygen, then I went on stage. I was OK. But like I say, I don't want anyone to worry."

The talk show host was announcing on her show Wednesday that she is starting a label called eleveneleven. Her first act will be 12-year-old Greyson Chance, who recently became a sensation on YouTube with his piano version of Lady Gaga's "Paparazzi."
There's no word on when the label will start. It was formed with Telepictures Productions.
Besides DeGeneres, Greyson has some other strong people behind him: Madonna's manager and Lady Gaga's manager

SFTC: HAPPY VICTORIA DAY FROM CANADA.
Victoria Day celebrates Queen Victoria's birthday (May 24th). Canada is still a member of the Commonwealth of Nations, of which the Queen is head. Victoria Day is always on a Monday, and thus the holiday is part of a long weekend, which is commonly referred to as the Victoria Day Weekend, the May Long Weekend, the May Long, or the May Two-Four (a case of beer there is called a "two-four" and many of these are consumed over the holiday). The weekend is also called the May 24th weekend, although it does not necessarily fall on May 24th.The Victoria Day Weekend always falls on the weekend before Memorial Day in the U.S.
The Victoria Day Weekend is the first popular weekend for spring / summer travel. Lots of people open up their cottages, plant gardens, or just get away. Expect crowds at resorts and hotels and busy highways. Fireworks displays are common, especially on Monday night.
Banks, schools, many stores and restaurants are closed on the Monday. Call ahead to find out about other attractions and tourist spots. Public transportation will run on a holiday schedule. Have a safe one!!

The key message for this TAVIS PSA is that TAVIS officers are there to help the community, not harass them. TAVIS officers listen and talk with community members and the goal is to work together and basically the two parts to TAVIS is community building and enforcement.
One by one, Gilly Gadan, Linkx, NES, Berg Beauge, Jay Stackz, David a.k.a. D, and Kadar Star busted rhymes for TAVIS, urging people to “trust” and “help” police.“I couldn’t believe the things they were saying,” Mills said excitedly. “I was just blown away!”He believes the messages were more powerful than any ad police could have produced on their own. The rappers’ contributions will be woven together and cut down to two 30-second spots, slated to air May 31 on Z103.5 and FLOW 93.5.But Mills was so impressed, he plans to post them in their entirety on youtube.com/torontopolice. While getting the rappers to say “all the right things” was easy, Mills said convincing them to work with cops may have been impossible if not for the help of crime victim advocate Kemi Omololu-Olunloyo.She put the call out for rappers on her highly popular music blog, Hip-Hossip, and had 700 responses. But that number dwindled to just a handful when she explained cops were involved.“I screened them to be sure they were sincere,” she said. “I didn’t want anyone who was only doing it just to boost their career.” However, as a Canadian correspondent on a new hip-hop show called The Deal on BET, she plans to reward the volunteers by giving them some exposure.Omololu-Olunloyo said the young men who participated have had trouble with the law to varying degrees, but she believes that gives them more credibility with the youth.

"Hey Kemi, I have noticed the initiative you have taken with the Tavis program. I would also like to give back to the community. A year ago I was released from the penetentiary after 25 months of incarceration. During my time there I completed my high school and worked on a Business Diploma through correspondence at Northern College. When I was released I was placed in a shelter at Queen and Sherbourne even though I was convicted of drug trafficking. I never let that bother me. I searched for jobs relentlessly and found one at a call center. I worked there until last week. I was just hired for a tech support position for $35,500 a year plus benefits. I guess I'm saying anything is possible. My music is my life and now I can invest in myself. More importantly I will be having my son live with me. I feel that if I can change so can others who really want to change.

Rising rapper Yung Hott has been shot dead while filming a music video in Georgia.
The 27-year-old hip-hop star, real name Jerode Paige, was killed instantly after being hit in the head on Saturday on the set of his first promo in Griffin, where a large group had gathered to watch the video shoot.
Three other people were injured in the incident, including a five-year-old girl, reports AllHipHop.com.
Police in Griffin have arrested and charged four men in relation to the killing - Terrance Jones, 23; Bahir Howard, 22; Terry Fuller, 21, and Corderra Walker, 21.
They are each facing counts for murder, aggravated battery and child cruelty and are currently being held at Spalding County Jail.

Canadian heartthrob Justin Bieber is being honored among some of music’s most prominent Black performers. On Tuesday, the baby-faced teen idol nabbed a Best New Artist nomination for next month’s BET Awards in Los Angeles, where he’ll compete against fellow Canadian Melanie Fiona and the Drake-assisted hip-hop syndicate Young Money.The annual awards show, sponsored by Black Entertainment Television, typically honors the accomplishments of entertainers of color, but officials describe Bieber — a former YouTube sensation discovered by “Confessions” star Usher — as a crossover artist with talent that transcends color lines. His latest album, My World 2.0, debuted at No.1 on the Billboard charts in March.
“Bieber has crossed the color boundaries the same way that hip-hop has crossed the boundaries the other way for a number of years,” says Stephen Hill, BET’s President of Music Programing and Specials. “He’s had rhythm in his music. He makes the type of music our audience likes.”
The 2010 BET Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, airs live from The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles on June 27.

One-woman entertainment conglomerate Queen Latifah is sure to reign supreme as host of this year's BET AWARDS '10. Blessed with style and substance, Queen Latifah is a Grammy® Award-winning musician, television and film actress, label president, author and entrepreneur. On January 4, 2006, she became the first hip hop artist to be crowned with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, has received rave reviews, an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her portrayal as Mama Morton in Miramax's "Chicago" as well as a Golden Globe and SAG Award win for her heart wrenching role in "Life Support."
BET AWARDS '10 will recognize the achievements of artists, entertainers and athletes in 19 categories. Front-runner Jay-Z gets 5 individual nominations across multiple categories: Best Male Hip Hop Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year (for which he holds two nominations) and Viewer's Choice. Closely behind are Beyonce (Best Female R&B Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year, Viewer's Choice), Alicia Keys (Best Female R&B Artist, Best Collaboration, Video of the Year, Viewer's Choice), Trey Songz (Best Male R&B Artist, Best Collaboration – 2, Viewer's Choice) and Melanie Fiona (Best Female R&B Artist, Best New Artist, Video of the Year, Centric Award) with 4 each.
Drake locks 3 individual nominations with an additional 3 for Young Money; similarly, Nicki Minaj has 2 individual nods as well as 3 for Young Money. Other multiple nominees include Rihanna, Fabolous, B.O.B., Maxwell and Monica. Teen heart throb Justin Bieber secures nomination for Best New Artist, Disney™ actress Selena Gomez for the YoungStars Award and "Avatar" star Zoe Saldana for Best Actress.
On the social media front, BET AWARDS '10 will focus on digital exclusives and interactivity. There will be a 106 & PARK Pre-Show performance that will live only on digital platforms. Internet users will be able to interact with the show through such features as:

- "Ultimate Fan," where three contest finalists will travel to New York and appear on 106 & PARK to state their case for why they should be the BET Awards Ultimate Fan. The Ultimate Fan winner will be determined by mobile votes and the grand prize package includes a 4 day/3 night trip for two to Los Angeles where he/she will co-present the Viewer's Choice award.
