The MTV Video Music Awards Nominees have been announced.

The Moonmen will be handed out Sept. 6 at L.A.’s Staples Center, airing live on MuchMusic. Alicia Keys and One Direction are the first confirmed performers. Also most importantly most of those moon men may be dropping into Canadian hands as several Canadian were on lockdown in the nominee list. Drake, Justin Bieber, Carly Rae Jepsen and even KNAAN and Nelly made the list. As always, I highlight who I predict will win. Tune in on MUCH Sept 6th 2012.

Snoop Dogg Kicked Out of Norway for 2 years for DRUGS.

Rapper Snoop Dogg has been banned from entering Norway for two years after allegedly trying to smuggle marijuana into the country in June.

The Gin and Juice hitmaker was stopped by officials at Kristiansand Airport in Kjevik, where he was allegedly caught carrying eight grams of weed.

Snoop Dogg, a longtime advocate of the drug, was fined $2,000 at the time of the offence and was allowed entry into the country, where he had been booked to perform at the Hovefestivalen event.

However, Norwegian officials have since barred the star from returning.

The musician's lawyer reveals Snoop has no immediate plans to appeal the ruling, insisting he "can live with the decision".

Remembering Toronto Rapper Michael "Meyend Tricks" George FIVE Years Later.

It was FIVE years ago that someone gunned down Michael George in front of his girlfriend's house. We cannot forget and will NOT forget. Nobody gets away with murder. Above is the the 2010 press conference I hosted for his family to speak out. Atlanta R&B singer Tim Campbell was in town that week to attend the Toronto Independent Music awards and was a nominee just like Mike won in BEST RAP category in 2007. He was killed days before the awards were handed out. His family launched his final album at this newser.

Carly Rae Jepsen Nude Photos Missing?

Carly Rae Jepsen has called Vancouver police -- and it wasn't a maybe.

The Canadian singer, who rocketed to pop stardom with her hit "Call Me Maybe," contacted cops in March to report stolen items. According to gossip website TMZ, the files stolen included nude photos of the star.

"The Vancouver police are investigating the unauthorized use of a computer, theft of telecommunications and criminal harassment related to Ms. Jepsen," said Const. Lindsey Houghton.

"One suspect - an adult male - has been identified, but at this time he has not been arrested or charged, as the investigation continues."

It is not the first time this week Jepsen's naked body has been in the news. The 26-year-old responded to her more than 1.7 million Twitter followers about online reports that she had a sex tape.

She tweeted on July 23: "Crazy morning. Discovered that someone put up a sex tape claiming to be me. Ridiculous. Obviously not me."

Thieves Raid Rapper Rick Ross' Tour Bus!

Wenn reports that Rapper Rick Ross' tour bus was ransacked in Detroit, Michigan on Saturday, according to a U.S. report.

The vehicle was raided and thousands of dollars worth of items, including jewelry and clothes, were allegedly taken.

Nobody was on the bus when it was raided and a police report has been filed in relation to the incident, according to TMZ.com.

The website reports Ross and his entourage were staying at a nearby hotel at the time.

WOMEN OF THE DAY: MA GURL ALYSSA REID HAS GONE TO THE DOGG!

When I tell you that Alyssa is going to be SO BIG, you ignore me. I was the first to interview the following people WITHOUT an album. Ummm, must I even remind you? Classified, K'Naan, Nicki Minaj, Ciara, Soulja Boy, Young Jeezy AND MORE. This is how you appreciate music. Only 2 days ago did we have Youth Day Global in Toronto where Alyssa first got her start. She went from there at such a young age to the MMVA's and even tore up the Canadian Radio Music awards nabbing a few trophies.

Now Alyssa Reid who coincidentally performed separately at another gig last year with Snoop Dogg have now teamed together in the U.K on her new video "The Game." BAM! Alyssa and Snoop both headlined the 2011 Z103.5FM's Summer Jam and KJ and I met them both. For so long I've been following this teen who has made a mark in the music business and gone global. It’s the second single to be lifted from her debut album of the same name, released last June.

The video itself does not come out till September 2nd 2012 and u can only see it EXCLUSIVELY on the Sun UK's website. Our friends at the Sun calls her the female Biebs which puts Carly Rae as.....ummm..OK I ain't gettin in between that comment-arama.

This video shows an audio of the 911 call during the tragedy. Officers said two children were on an innertube being pulled by a pontoon boat when a Jet Ski ran over them.They said the driver of the Jet Ski was 38-year old Jeffrey Hubbard. Hubbard was a FAMILY FRIEND.

It was later confirmed the child in the accident was Usher Raymond's stepson. Usher said on his Facebook page that his stepson was declared brain dead after an accident over the weekend but Tameka has not spoken publically and above is her last Facebook posting since the accident. Officers said alcohol was not a factor. They have not filed charges, but they are still investigating.

Did Chris Brown Cheat On His Community Service Hours?

LOS ANGELES -- A judge ordered an audit of Chris Brown's community service progress Tuesday after a prosecutor handling his felony assault case cited a possible discrepancy in the amount of work he has performed.

Deputy District Attorney Mary Murray requested the audit because she says the records are not clear on how many hours Brown performed and where the work has been done. Brown had been allowed to perform six months' worth of community labour in his home state of Virginia, but a judge said probation officials in Los Angeles should review detailed records to ascertain how much work he has actually done.

Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg said Brown had completed a significant number of hours, but did not elaborate.

Brown's attorney Pat Harris did not object to the audit, and said after the hearing the issue was related to which jurisdiction his client performed his community service in.

The judge said part of the issue was that the court hadn't received detailed logs of Brown's community service, which is supposed to comprise of graffiti removal, roadside cleanup and other manual labour. Schnegg said those logs had previously been provided, but not for recent updates.

Brown, 23, remains on probation for beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009. He has completed domestic violence and anger management counselling.

Schnegg ordered Brown to appear at the next hearing, tentatively scheduled for Aug. 21. It will be the first time Brown has had to appear in court in several months, and the R&B singer has generally received favourable reports from probation officials and Schnegg.

There was no mention of the recent New York City bottle-throwing nightclub brawl that left Brown with a cut on his chin, or a woman's claim that the singer had snatched her cellphone in Miami after she tried to take a picture of him. The melee occurred members of singer Drake's entourage stopped Brown and his group from leaving the club W.i.P., though neither entertainer has been arrested. Drake has said he was leaving the club when the fight began.

Brown's attorney Mark Geragos asked that the singer's probation be terminated in February. But a judge declined, stating that the Grammy nominee should complete more of his community service obligations.

At the time, officials reported that Brown had completed half of the six months' worth of roadside cleanup, graffiti removal and other manual labour that he was ordered to do after pleading guilty.

Brown is serving a five year probation sentence.

UPDATE 7.54pm EDT Toronto: Tameka's son Little Kyle Glover who was declared brain dead is now trending on Twitter in the ATL area. People are using social media rapidly to spread this horrific news. His mother Tameka, I will say is one of the celebrities that solidly used twitter when it began. Tameka Foster Raymond, Soulja Boy and Diddy were the Kings and Queen of Twitter when I started tweeting in 2006, sadly many people are asking who this boy is, because we do have a lot of watercraft accidents in US and Canada and they don't trend like this. 


His mother was married to Usher, a worldwide music celebrity that even the kid could say he grew up in the house with. I lost my brother at 17. He was struck by a drunk driver while crossing the street on red for the driver. My brother was removed from life support and his organs were donated. 5.38pm EDT Toronto: Last time I checked, Tameka's son is still in very critical condition. Keep Praying pls even though this evil woman made my life hell in 2009. As some of u may not know, Usher's ex-wife has 5 sons and 3 are from Ryan Glover. Kyle, 11 who is KJ's age was hit by a Jet Ski yesterday in Atlanta's Lake Lanier. He suffered serious head injuries alongside another victim, a 15 y/o girl with him. The man on the jet ski has not been charged and was not drunk at the time. Police tell me it was simply an accident.

I'm told the boy cannot talk and close sources tell me he is in an induced coma. With the horrible custody case going on with Usher and Tameka for the youngest two--Usher's boys? Most of you know that it was adjourned in May 2012 to August 2012. Usher was called a drug addict and other "bad father" things by Tameka. He burst into tears in the courtroom. He was out of town yesterday and has only visitation with his kids as I'm told. Yesterday was not that weekend. TAMEKA was out of town too. When she heard, she was reported to have called him to come get the kids while Ryan took his other two. It was Usher that chartered a PRIVATE JET for this woman to rush her to Atlanta to the boy's side.  

When Tameka called my house in 2009 and left a message cursing me up because I wrote a post about her calling her "Usher's soon to be ex" she flared up and slammed me by calling my home in Toronto (My number is publicly listed) and even got her Publicist to shut down HipHossip.com for 2 weeks claiming copyright to a photo and costing me and advertisers thousands of dollars I had to return. It was the American Music awards week and award shows bring more revenue and I had no coverage. The picture was a Derek Blanks picture and it was Blanks lawyer, Juanita Vann that worked so hard to help me get my blog back up by writing GoDaddy day after day to appeal the DCMA filing she made, so I could get my domain back and end the nightmare. The photo was copyrighted to Blanks, a famed Atlanta based celebrity photographer. I was in tears when this happened as the wife of a celebrity filed a false copyright claim on my biz and they believed her for 14 days!

KJ made a video which addressed leaving that kind of message and having a child such as himself retrieve it. In that video my son who was 9 at the time said "Tameka, don't you have a kid my age? It's not nice to leave a curse word on our home phone number." Sadly my son is also 11 and the son he was referring to then must have been Kyle. I never posted that video online as it was for our fun BET hip-hop show "The Deal" which went on haitus. That skit was for one of the scripts that asked the craziest thing that ever happened to HipHossip and a "celebrity." I watched the video today and it hurt so bad.

Many celebrities, Halle Berry etc and Tameka need to wake up with this custody crap and beefs with the whole entertainment industry.  Life is SO short.  We don't own these children, God gave them to us!! I am praying for all 5 boys. They must be going thru a lot! I am also praying for Tameka cos Kyle and KJ are both 11 and I'm a mother at the end of the day.

Tameka's twitter followers on her twitter handle for Lost Ones Charity heard from her last on a strange tweet at 2.30am this morning ..while in the hospital maybe? This tweet was part of what I call her Horoscope tweets and she was tweeting for Capricorns.
